3.15 Reaper - a more refined experience is a Path of Exile Necromancer build by Pr3vie, made for the Expedition league (3.15). It is centered on Summon Reaper and plays as a intelligence, physical, minion, spell archetype. Defensively it sits at 7.22K life, 471 energy shield. Suited for: Simulacrum, Delve, Mapping, Bossing, Expedition. Key uniques include Asenath's Gentle Touch, Darkness Enthroned, Rumi's Concoction, Elixir of the Unbroken Circle, Rearguard.

Pr3vie's Notes
► My SECOND take on the Reaper Lady in 3.15 and a boss marathon with all Invitations and the bosses I didn't show in my first video.
So I played Reaper, then played Blink & Mirror Arrow, played with a friends CoC (no homo xD), and now I am back to Reaper again with some fresh ideas (so 3 Reaper characters in this League - send help). Don't worry, the BAMA turned out great and the video will come soon.
► PoB from the video: https://pastebin.com/aNagQYgR ( 112% more Bleed Damage from the patchnotes is on the unique Flask Unbroken Circle)
► Profile (The_Waifu_Laifu): https://www.pathofexile.com/account/view-profile/Prevy/characters
► PoB without Arctic Armour and Aul, for more deeps: https://pastebin.com/px740mNH
(note that Melee Phys doest not work on Ultimate Slash, so I set a Meathshield to lvl 35 to kinda simulate it but not rly)
► Whats different in this Reaper version? (spoiler: it costs more!)
The previous build had a few things I didn't like, mainly bleed inconsistency and lowish defence which made me play like a pussy. Initially I set out to solve some of the issues with an Aura Stacker version, but encountered quite a few problems that I had no elegant solutions for. So, I went back to the drawing board and tried to fix up the lifebased version instead.
I tried to keep the 15-18m dps, because I found that to be quite comfy and just started to add more defence. That naturally made the build more expensive but its hard to argue with the results.
► Changelog:
-
I theorycrafted a better bow.
-
Better pathing, so we can pick up Resolute Technique.
-
+2 Amulet got swapped out for Pride Aul, which is a huge dps loss, but allowed me to link Pride to Enhance 4 which gives me 99% Bleed Chance BEFORE! Vuln Curse. That means I have pretty much 100% Bleed Chance and uptime even on Hexproof/Curse immune enemies.
-
Added double elevated helmet (which should be a Bone Helmet - Hubris is a leftover of my Aura stacking attempt) with -7% reduced mana reservation. Combined with the Aul I am able to fit in some more Auras. I added Arctic Armour for phys reduction and anti freeze - take that Maven!
Aspect of the Spider got added to make up for the dps loss and for more defence. I changed my Mediums to have Uncomprimising, enabling me to reserve Determination. I added a Determination Watchers Eye with armour and phys reduction, which solves the previous lack of phys damage reduction.
-
I am mapping in Sand Stance at all times. Blood Stance is only for heavy duty bossing.
-
I relocated my Elemental Resistances over to my 12 point Large Cluster, which freed up some mod slots on my gear for utility.
-
With a few mana rolls on Ghastlys and one my ring I was able to free up enough mana to also reserve a lvl 4 clarity. Because of that I decided to enchant my boots with increased Mana Recovery. That allowed me drop the Mana Flask.
-
Because of the extra stuff added and because I wanted double Vermillion Rings, a few things had to be dropped. Its either Maim or Culling Strike on the Skeletons, you cant have both. Offerings are gone, which locks you into Bone Barrier, but it also means way less stuff to click and manage.
-
We now have huge value from Enhance, as it not only boosts the Pride Bleed Chance but also reduces the cooldown on Convocation and Flamedash!
-
If you drop the Darkness Belt for a Hunter Stygian the build can reach over 8k hp at lvl 99-100.
Overall you should be able to tell that my gameplay has become alot more confident and calm due to higher defences, which naturally translates into higher dps uptime. For some encounters I teched in Meatshield instead of Minion Damage. That makes Reaper super tanky (65k+ hp) and gives me access to Taunt. The combination of all the slows and Taunt completely breaks bosses with long attack/cast animations.
