simplyVizniz's Notes
Ignite Chance Sources (Getting to 100% for Hinekora Explosion off Penance Phantasms is important.)
Tattoos (5% per, very expensive currently)
Jewel Suffix (a great 3rd/4th mod on jewels is 5% ignite chance with some ignite duration which gives damage once you're stacking faster ailment damage)
Runesmithing Enchant (Up to 15%, not much else to get unless you want a bit of % damage)
Prefix Weapon Craft (up to 20%, pretty stock choice comes with fire damage)
Clusters (burning cluster has some 10/15% ignite chance nodes with blowback being a very strong damage node as well)
Flask Suffix (rolls up to 35%, pretty easy to maintain and a great option early)
The tree (take things like holy dominion, divine judgment, holy fire wheels for ignite chance with good damage)
Scaling area of effect is important to insure you're getting penance mark explosions on single target as they've adjusted the distance the monsters spawn since affliction
You should punishment -> penance mark as it allows both to stay on at once, should this ever get fixed (probably) consider picking up +1 curse or just applying punishment after penance ignite has started
You should take defiled forces for any major bossing (such as ubers or simulacrum farming) as it will allow you to not have to fish for as many ignites
If you plan on doing simulacrums you might want to invest heavier into armor and swap to a doppleganger's guise to counteract the heavy chaos damage
You don't need to use defiance of destiny for this build but I've been playing it as a hardcore challenge so it keeps me safe from things like multi proj cannibals.
If you want you can instead go into a more block heavy variant to make up for a lack of evasion
You can even get a %life gain on block shield as either a more defensive armor shield with PDR or a recommended offensive shield with fire %damage (or minion)
Try to buy a synth implicit %life gain on block shield to make this process easier
Swapping off death rush + regular boots for annihilation's approach + replica emberwake can be pretty big damage just be aware you will need defiled forces and ideally some form of auto-cursing to maintain
You can always pick up +2 max fire resistance jewels to maintain 90% res all the time instead of just during ruby
The best way to scale damage is going to be stacking faster ailment later on and abusing defiled forces. Just be sure to not take too much away from righteous fire clear so that you don't have to stop in packs
There is a budget tree and a not so budget tree located at the bottom of the skill tree tab
