PoE builds similar to [Poe 3.14] Freezing Pulse Elementalist - League Starter Build Update Week 2

Taking the base from jungroan's icyhot FP but now with pinpoint getting nerfed (especially with respect to mana sustain) but unleash getting out fine, thought maybe having two 5L FPs would do the trick. Means 8x (4 seals on each FP) damage from 2 casts, good for roughly 3-5mil burst damage with gear I feel comfortable attaining on a starter. Also pretty satisfying seeing the quadrupled up waves of ice blowing up mobs. Any thoughts for this vs. a traditional pinpoint self casting?

Basically use a Hopeshredder with battlemage, for insane damage and kill everything. Replica Maloney's Mechanism maintains both frenzy and power charges Alt Quality Ensnaring arrow gives us 20% more spell damage, and builds our fanaticism Relatively cheap budget for the dps potential infinite mana with EB One thing is that this build has pretty much no defenses, so if you guys can give me hints on how to add defenses to the build that would be good

I'm decently experienced with creating builds in PoB and I'm bored waiting for the league so here we go. Just write a few keywords for the build like: Eye of winter, deadeye, selfcast, freeze immune. No guarentees that it will be the best way to build it, but I will give it a shot. Everyone else is ofc welcome to provide their own PoB or give input. I'm working on an Eye of Winter build because frozen orb was awesome in D2 and I want to try it out here. With the nerfs to everything, I figure this is as good a time as any to experiment with a new skill! I see two ways to build this, you can either go cast speed + crit or you can go unleash and ignore cast speed. I built both out in PoB, but cast speed seemed more promising. Eventually you can probably transition into dual void batteries once you get enough currency. I went Occultist here, but Assassin would also probably work well. Deadeye might be good too! Thoughts? The plan is to swap out ele focus with pinpoint. Somehow this actually turned out better than assassin variant, im curious to see how it does, leveling will feel like ass, no atziri flask.... :(
