PoE builds similar to PoE 2 | Massive AoE explosions with Impending Doom Lich

Most leagues I try to make a unique concept for Ball lightning because I'm obsessed with the skill sadly. Been thinking about this concept before the league launch but didn't realise I'd get rich this league. First time using Progenesis and Mageblood in a build but I am not sure what additions or changes I can make, The only items I have crafted is the boots, the amulet and the wand and I have purchased the body armour and lethal pride already. Ill have about 100divs leftover after purchasing the Mageblood and decently rolled Progen

Theorycrafted this build around the cheap Consuming dark daggers, ideal for league start. Capped spell suppression, decent critical strike chance, 4k life and 3k Energy shield. No armour whatsover (need flasks to fix this). Cast speed rolls might be a bit generous. Onslaught boots to further maximize your cast speed for really smooth gameplay. Higher Evasion rating would be desirable. Reminds me of chaos incinerate occultist in 3.3 which felt pretty great, maybe I try this as a second character. Edit: if you swap in Immolate

Saw somebody post their Poison Winter Orb build earlier today and thought I'd share the Poison Ball Lightning I made. It's more or less identical to Poison Spark, both in tree and gameplay feel, except for bossing when I swap gems and rings. You (probably) shouldn't play this? It does feel a tiny bit worse than Poison Spark in doing most things. But it was a nice change of pace for a bit, and I have a strong suspicion that as long as you have an Original Sin, you could get Ball Lightning going farther on a smaller budget than Spark.
