PoE Dry_Fee_5343 builds

Hi, I recently leveled an Omnishot deadeye after getting omni 2x on my main character. I initially tried following FastAF's phys -> cold conversion variant, but just didn't have the currency to fully flesh it out. After watching both Baylormage's video and Matth's guide, I still can't seem to make it work. I find myself struggling with quite a few things (Survivability, crit chance, accuracy, and far shot vs pointblank) that I'd just like some guidance on.
