PoE Spell Totem, Templar builds

TL;TR 100% lightning to chaos with phantasmal spark and voltaxic rift, hierophant mana based build with archmage, 50-60% MoM, agnostic, lots of mana regen, lots of fun. I've been toying with the idea for a while because I think it would be funny to do, and the 20% life regen is pretty good incentive. So far what I have is a Divine Ire Inquisitor that self hits with scold's bridle and converts that to cold self damage then uses auxium + agnostic + replica reckless defense for a 3 second self freeze and then uses kaom's roots for the ability to move. can someone let me know if the idea is viable??? POB: Looking into playing dark pact totem as a starter that can scale into end game. With trash gear, lv17 gems, and a 5 link this should do 500K dps. Which can scale to 5.5m dps with investment. Defense is MoM, HP, ES, and the totem play style. Debating between swapping out zealotry for vaal discipline if I feel squishy. Anyone have experience with DP totems? Main thing is I am sure the build will feel very clunky until getting astral projector. Hopefully not unplayble clunky.
