Hey guys, since I'm nearing the end of my league journey I figured I'd share the build I league started with -- a Crackling Lance Inquisitor. I pretty much cleared all content in the game that I wanted to (near everything outside of sim30, did not attempt a simulacrum) and I loved that it was near-immortal. I initially followed some concepts from CaptainLance9 so shoutout to him and his youtube channel.
My goal was to make an immortal Inquisitor that had enough DPS to comfortably and quickly farm juiced t16s and tackle all the endgame bosses with relative ease. The character has 85% to all maximum resistances (melding of the flesh), max block w/ glancing blows, ES gain on block (from aegis aurora), 25k+ armour with buffs rolling, and 1000+ life/es regen.
I had two initial concerns when I league started: 1) Crackling Lance aoe/clear and cast speed. Clear was solved thanks to the new eldritch implicits as shock prolif on rare gloves + Inpulsa gives us satisfying, nearly screenwide explode. Cast speed was largely solved through gearing and fanaticism. I use forbidden flesh/flame Instruments of Zeal to get fanaticism which makes mapping super fun and bossing a lot easier (just rev it up while the boss is RP'ing). Our DPS ends up at around 10-11 mil with all buffs up (Flasks, Fanaticism, Sigil) and probably around 5-8 million without buffs. The latter is a more reliable number because you don't always have ideal conditions (sigil/fanaticism notably), but it's useful to know what the top end number is when you ramp up in a full fanaticism window.
My gear is pretty minmaxed (though there's still a lot of room for even better rares), but the build isn't that expensive. The items are all fairly generic and the most expensive piece was crafting my wand.
