=== ACT 1 === Quest Rewards Hillock - Frostbolt Tidal Island - Arcane Surge (keep this at level 2) Cave - Holy Flame Totem, Frostblink Prison - Added Lightning Damage Brutus - Vitality (buy Clarity and Flame Dash, keep the auras low level) Final Cave - Storm Brand I swapped to storm brand at merveils cave, it was a bit slower at first but scales quickly. === ACT 2 === Quest Rewards Chamber of Sins - Herald of Thunder Weaver's Chamber - Concentrated Effect Kill all 3 bandits. === ACT 3 === Quest Rewards Lost In Love - Zealotry (buy Automation and Steelskin) Zealotry can be turned on around lvl 35 unless you turn off something else. You can swap to Tornado of Elemental Turbulence at level 34, but I recommend waiting until after second lab even if you have it already. Start levelling it though. Put your first two ascend points into Righteous Providence. === ACT 4 === Quest Rewards Breaking the Seal - Summon Stone Golem The Eternal Nightmare - Cast When Damage Taken (check vendor after Dialla offers you a gem) At this point your gems will not change much until you swap into tornado, either directly after second lab or whenever you get the gem. === ACT 6 === Quest Rewards Fallen from Grace - Tornado (buy from Lilly) Doing this optional quest allows us to buy tornado and bring it into second lab for a chance at a transfigured version next act. === ACTS 7-10 === Start levelling Arrogance, Petrified Blood, Hatred and Determination in your second weapon set for later. You can do second lab near the end of act 7, and put the points into Sanctuary. - bring a tornado gem for a chance at the transfigured version. Start making sure you have STR/INT armour in every slot, since we scale energy shield and armour for defenses and it will become important soon. If you don't have transfigured tornado yet, just keep using storm brand as long as you need. Skip the physical damage related nodes until you swap. After third lab, take Inevitable Judgement. === Early Maps === Change the Reservation Mastery to 20% increased Life Reservation Efficiency, and get Petrified Blood running. life regen is now a huge portion of your defense so take every opportunity to stack it. First purchase should be The Highwayman, then a 5Link chest The Elemental Overload keystone has been carrying our damage for a long time, but it loses value with crit. Remove it when you get a 5Link. Once EO is removed you can start removing the dual wield nodes, while swapping over to a shield. === Notes === The important thing for this build is to manage our defensive layers, DPS is pretty easy. We use Petrified Blood to take a portion of incoming hits as damage over time, and stack a lot of sustain. At first you will use The Highwayman and Energy Leech support. After final lab, you can drop the energy leech whenever you are comfortable without it. It's not easy to leech life with generic spell damage, not many sources of it. You will be wearing that highwayman ring until getting a large cluster jewel with Doryani's Lesson, so the jewel is high priority. Glorious Vanity is a cornerstone of our defenses, allowing us to split incoming damage between life and ES. It can also give ES leech and other defensive things depending on your budget. There is a search link on the guides gear page, the starter one has only ES leech. To save money at first you can just buy the cheapest one that says "in the name of Doryani"
