Video showcase to document my test deadeye for rolling magma. After running with it through campaign and early maps, I realize that deadeye is actually not the right ascendacy for this.
The skill scales a lot of chains with quality which we use the reduced projectile speed to keep the areas overlapping for single target. I'm using a widowhail and a craghead to reach that level. If anything, I might actually need a lower rolled craghead, because It may be TOO slow for usability
Deadeye really didn't add much besides the chain, because extra projectiles doesn't help with added damage, so we rather go for aoe. Really what we want is to have it attached to an arcanist brand and just spam it on enemies and recall on cooldown. So really it would be better on a heirophant in this current iteration to be closer to brand and cast speed nodes, and possibly another clear brand/ explosion mechanic.
Overall, I think this might actually be a fun meme build. the stun on mobs is also very funny since I scale no stun and have stunned everything I've thrown at.
Hopefully this is useful to someone in the future. I don't think Widowhail + Craghead is overpowered at all, I just think it's funny that there is still this slow of a projectile possible in game
