Hey guys, I'm Voisier and I want to share my lightning conduit miner. Every league I try to find a non-meta skill to build out. Scrolling through transfigured gems I found Lightning Conduit's transfigured gem removes the biggest downside of playing any LC build. The trans gem does not require the enemy to be shocked, it doesn't remove shock, and it can shock itself.
I've created a video going over the basics of the build but if you're not interested in watching, the transcript (more or less) is below. The overall budget for this build is probably about 100d + Mageblood. It feels buttery smooth in maps and takes down bosses pretty effortlessly.

Taking a look at the gear you'll see we're abusing Ralakesh boots and stacking charges. There's a lot of speculation these boots may be gone, nerfed, or converted to a t-0 unique next league. This was a good enough reason to choose charge stacking for scaling damage. Getting a spell supression corruption on Ralakesh relieves gear pressure in other slots. In affliction league we also have access to charms so we can get suppression capped relatively easily while we're using mostly uniques to stack damage with charges.
This is the league of cheap uniques so mageblood was a nobrainer. Mageblood probably costs as much as the rest of the build combined. We use quicksilver, silver, jade, and amethyst flasks. Enchanted with life regen (since we can't leech damage from mines), movement speed, resistances, and evasion.
The gloves are one of the few crafted pieces on this build - the most important stats here are suppress, t1 dexterity and life. For the implicits unnerve is important - we have an additional source of exposure with wave of conviction so this implicit is just mapping qol. Extra levels to AoE gems increases the effectiveness of zealotry blessing.
Void battery is the standard charge stacking weapon. Cast speed is not important here since we're using mines, shoot for high crit chance. The vaal implicit of damage pen is a nice upgrade in dps but not mandatory.
Malachai's loop compliemnts void battery, spell damage per power charge is the only important stat here since we're only using energy shield for mana with eldritch battery. Corruption aren't hugely helpful here, you could go for max life if you want.
Dialla's is a massive source of increased damage. If you're not familiar, you can socket any color gem in any socket with this body armour. We shoot for a mix of green (30% quality) and red (+2 level) sockets since we don't care about having increased experience gain (blue sockets) from our gems. A corrupted implicit for +2 aoe gems, or +1 all gems is ideal. If you're giga rich go for both.
An amethyst ring with conductivity on hit fills our left ring slot. Ideally this would actually be elemental weakness but the difference is only about 2% enemy resistance reduction. We could self cast this curse for a ~10% increase in damage but getting this effect on hit makes mapping feel a lot smoother. The prefixes here actually do matter - the +fire +cold damage combo makes it so lightning conduit also ignites and chills. The effect is microscopic but it checks the box which enables large damage increases with our cluster jewel and charm setup.
Our right ring is profane proxy with elemental weakness socketed. If you had a ele weakness on hit left ring instead of conductivity, you would swap conductivity here.
Badge of the brotherhood increases our frenzy charge cap to match power charges so we end up with quite a bit of movement speed as well as some benefits from passives on the tree that grant damage per charge. If you can get a corrupt badge with additional curse it saves four point on the tree which there are plenty of place to spec for damage or ehp. Anointing overcharge to save travel points on the tree.
The helmet is a blizzard crown with +1 power charge and nearby enemies have reduced lightning resistance. These are a little tedious to craft so I haven't managed to get one that has terribly useful other affixes.
For all three primalist charms I'm using suppression and crit multi against burning. You can also use crit multi per power charge but they're likely much more expensive. TWWT is also focused on those two stats. Anything else is icing on the cake.
My watcher's eye is nothing special here. Just double "affected by wrath" damage mods. They're not even the best ones. For a while I was running determination instead of grace so the crit reduction was nice. If you're more keen on bossing you could run determ, swap dex on gloves to strength, and a granite flask with increased armour. A lot of bosses have attacks that can't be evaded so this will feel a little better in those cases.
Dominus Militant faith gives us the Inner Conviction keystone for 30% more spell damage. Impossible escape for Ghost Reaver grants us about nine free skill points which is great since we're pretty stretched out on this tree. Forbidden Flesh and Flame provide Ambush and Assassinate which is a huge dps increase against full life and low life enemies. We also get culling strike here. Unstable Infusion is an option as well for an additional power charge but there's no other utility there.
Our large clusters are granting Sadist + Prismatic heart and whatever. We don't take the third passive skill here. Any resist or stat is a good addition for the fourth affix. All of the medium clusters are Guerilla Tactics with Surprise Sabotage. These grant a ludicrous amount of damage. If you can get the increased trap and mine throwing speed affix it's a nice boost to dps and qol.
Ascendancy - Born in the shadows gives us a thicc defensive layer by blinding enemies and granting DR from blind enemies. Demolitions Specialist hinders enemies and grants mine aura effect which synergizes with our mine masteries. Pyromaniac gives us ignite and shock immunity as well as additional life regen. Explosives expert is massive damage against enemies with each of the three elemental ailments.
On the skill tree - We take the standard life masteries of +50 and 15% if your body armour doesn't have life modifiers. Mine masteries grant 10% increased damage taken and 10% reduced damage dealt by enemies near mines. Mana mastery helps us squeeze in more reservation efficiency, and charge mastery gives a small damage boost.
Lightning conduit doesn't scale amazingly well with any of the standard support gems so we take the standard mine kit with an empower. Wave of conviction will apply 15% exposure to lightning on enemies it hits while also working as a decoy for enemies to target. We run Wrath Grace and Skitterbots - going past level 20 with wrath doesn't give us a dps increase in this case. An enlighten 4 would be slightly more damage since we could stack more mines but it's completely unnecessary. The extra level on zealotry is just a slight boost so I wouldn't spend much effort getting a 21. Movement skills are frostblink and shield charge. Mine damage isn't reflected so if you happen to roll an ele reflect map be careful with frostblink. An extra level to our curse gem here (ele weakness or conductivity) is worth a half a percent dps so it's not a big focus. Immortal call and cwdt standard setup. Bear trap is a massive dps boost - we only really lay it down on crit or lightning resistant rares and bosses. If you want to maximize boss dps you can self cast the second curse. I would suggest dropping faster casting from wave of conviction and using that extra socket to slot in the curse.
I want to run over the config real quick because there are some build creators that will exploit these calculations to oversell their dps. In POB when we check full life or low life for enemies we get a huge boost. We're also using the default effect of each ailment rather than manipulating them. Our max effect of shock is 50% but we will rarely achieve that in normal gameplay. This is something to look out for in build guides that use elemental ailments because it can create a very deceiving dps number.
For Pantheon we're taking Brine King to freeze immunity and reduced chill effect. Minor God can be Ryslatha or Abberath depending on your preference.
For flasks I'll quickly mention that with all of the regen this build runs we can run bottle faith while bossing for a roughly twenty percent dps increase. The only exception is sirus - since he inflicts corrupted blood and we don't have a source of immunity in our build. It's possible to corrupt a cluster jewel for the immunity but it's not worth the effort in this build when we have flexibilty to run a life flask.
Thanks for checking my guide out. It's my first time putting anything like this together for PoE so any feedback is appreciated.
