(You can get one in about 10-15ex) Helmet - 6ex (the price has increased) Body Armour - 8ex (can be bought with just 2-3ex for non scourged ones) Gloves - 1ex Boots - 9ex (unlucky craft, unnecessary) Belt - 14ex Ammy - 6ex Ring 1 - ??? If your hydrosphere is in front of you between you and the boss, you will need to reposition it. Since we are using point blank, stay as close to the boss as possible in order to maximize your damage. ======================================================================================================================================= LEVELING: I do not recommend leveling the build as a league starter with no gear. So you could either level as > Hollow Palm > Exsanguinate (league start) You should swap once you could fit in all of your gear. I don't recommend swapping gear incrementally as you level. ======================================================================================================================================= COMMON QUESTION & ANSWERS Q: Thoughts on Deadeye / Occultist / Assassin or Why Scion? A: For this build, the extra points from scion is extremely important and it has the highest ceiling scaling compared to all other ascendancy. Deadeye farshot is incredibly hard to play with. When you require to stand a far distance to enable farshot, sometimes you can get offscreen simply you can't see the boss windups or you enabled some boss ranged attacks (such as Kosis TP Slam, he is totally harmless if you are in his melee range) Occultist has very limited options imo, her ascendancy does not provide a lot for single target. Her setup is mostly for clear. Why even Assassin when you are already near crit capped on Scion. Besides you'd also have to look for avoid stun boots & gear otherwise every hit will just stun you. Q: Why am I dealing literal 0 damage to the boss A: Hydrosphere positioning. That is extremely important. Again, you want to namelock on a boss, if your hydrosphere is infront of you, you must reposition the hydro by attacking somewhere else, then retarget the boss. Q: What mod I should look for in my Elegant Hubris? A: Frenzy on hit is your biggest priority. Next to it will be #% increased damage, such as spell damage, lightning damage with attacks, projectile attack damage etc. Q: How to calculate Vengeant Cascade damage? A: Add "100% more attack speed" on the custom modifier section on Config tab. Q: Should we use Tornado on the build? A: No, Tornado is way too wonky for the build to work, I don't think Tornado should be used for a Vengeant Cascade build because it is very inconsistent in dps. Q: What corruptions we should look for in Incan heart? A: If you don't have a 21/20 Anomalous Power Siphon, look for a +1 socketed or +2 projectile. If you do have 21/20, look for %increased damage with max res. Q: Why use Cobt (call of the brotherhood)? A: Cold damage gives you a lot of survivability as they chill bosses and shatter normal monsters. You may get a higher dps number with a rare ring, but you will notice that the overall gameplay experience will feel worse without CoBT Q: Why not use Crown of Eyes A: Although Crown of Eyes have a lot of damage, it does not have the defenses that a rare hubris could give. On top of a -30% fire res, you will have some issues on solving elemental resistances issues. If you have neither of the issues, you can go for CoE setup. Q: Why use Incandescent heart? A: For the stats it gives and the cost, it is arguably better than a #% INT chest with T1 and %Attributes. Besides, the defenses it gives is also insane and you are able to look for scourge implicits + corruptions. It is a lot better than a #% INT chest. Q: What is the purpose of Anomalous Predator? A: It serves similar to a -9 helmet, but it is -4 instead and only able to affect 1 target. Since it has no cast time nor mana cost, you can put it on left click to automate it. Q: Why use Deadeye Scion A: In my older setup, I did use deadeye. Simply because of consistency as Berserker does not have consistent rage and berserk uptime. Q: I can't afford the synthesize ring and belt, what should I do? A:If you can't afford for the belt, just go for Auxium. Auxium offers the same damage but lower ES pool. Make sure to look for maxed rolled Ele damage and use catalyst on it. If you can't afford the onslaught ring (insane expensive), just look for normal two-stoned ring or just look for an opal ring base. ======================================================================================================================================= WAND # Low Budget For the wands, these are the 3 most important stats. > adds # to # lightning damage per 10 intelligence > #% inc. attack speed > +#% to critical strike chance To craft this, you have to fossil spam metallic. Ideally get at least lightning per int and either of the two stats with an open suffix. This will maximize your damage output by a lot for that budget. # Moderate Budget For the wands, these are the 3 most important stats. > adds # to # lightning damage per 10 intelligence > #% increased spell damage per 16 intelligence > #% increased critical strike chance & +# to STR and INT > #% increased attack speed To craft this wand, follow these steps 1. Buy / Craft a shaper / elder / hunter wand with flat per INT and spell damage per INT. One of the base must be Imbued Wand (Highest Attack Speed) 2. Use Awakener's Orb on them, make sure you transfer the stats into an imbued wand 3.1 If you happen to have an open prefix and no open suffix, craft something on the prefix, then use harvest reforge keep prefix. Hope for an open suffix 3.2 If you happen to have an open prefix and an open suffix, craft prefix cannot be changed, use T4 aisling slam. 3.3 If you happen to have no open prefix and no open suffix. use harvest reforge keep prefix. Hope for an open suffix 3.4 If you happen to have no open prefix and open suffix, craft prefix cannot be changed, use veiled chaos orb. 4.1 (If Aisling) If you hit a prefix Aisling, go for (priority order) > Attacks Penetrate Ele Res > Inc Lightning Damage > Inc Spell Damage & Non chaos as extra chaos If you didn't got any of the stats, your only hope is to salvage the wand. Afterwards, finish it with multimod by crafting attack speed and crit chance 4.2 (If Aisling) If you hit a suffix Aisling, go for (priority order) > #increased crit & STR + INT > #increased attack speed & DEX + INT If you didn't got any of the stats, you can redo from step 3.1. Afterwards, finish it with multimod by crafting either of the stats you did not get (if you got crit, go for aps, vice versa), and elemental penetratio 4.3 (If veiled chaos orb) Same as step 4.2 with the same stats you want to look for. But if you failed to get the stats, restart from step 3.4 ======================================================================================================================================= HELMET # Low Budget For the wands, these are the 3 most important stats. > +# to INT > base 150+ES > +#% to any resistances To craft this, you have to spam essence until you hit one with decent stats. Ideally 200+ ES but you can stick with 100+ Ideally get a base with Power Siphon enchant. # Moderate Budget For moderate budget, these are the stats you want > +# to INT > #% Increased Intelligence > base 150+ ES > +# to resistances To craft this helmet, follow these steps 1. Buy / Obtain a Hubris base with ilvl of 72-79 with Power Siphon Enchant 2. Spam Essence of Spite (Ideally T7) until you get a base with decent stats with open suffix (you can annul if you want) 3. Use Hunter Exalted (guarantees #% INT) 4. Craft missing affixes (usually ES) Lab enchantments priority > Power Siphon fires 2 Additional Proj > Sniper's Mark increased effect > Hydrosphere -6 resistance ======================================================================================================================================= BOOTS # Low Budget For the wands, these are the 3 most important stats. > +# to INT > #% increased movement speed > base 60+ES > +#% to any resistances To craft this, you have to spam essence of spite until you hit one with decent stats. Ideally 100+ ES but you can stick with 60+ Ideally get a base with Power Siphon enchant. # Moderate Budget For moderate budget, these are the stats you want > +# to INT > +#% to resistances > #% chance to gain elusive on kill > #% increased movement speed To craft this helmet, follow these steps 1. Buy / Obtain a ilvl 86+ Two-Toned Boots with lab enchant (ideally pen) 2. Spam Essence of Spite (Ideally T7) until you get double resistances on your boots 3. Use Redeemer's Exalted Orb (skip step 4 if you got elusive on crit) 4. (If you did not obtain elusive), craft suffix cannot be changed, then harvest reforge crit 5. Craft suffix cannot be changed, then use T4 Aisling. Go for movement speed unveil, if not just salvage what you can get. 6. Finish craft by crafting on ES + EVA. Lab enchantments priority > Damage Penetrate 10% resistances > adds 1 to 160 Lightning Damage if you haven't killed recently ======================================================================================================================================= JEWELLERY (AMULET / RING / BELT) For any of the jewelleries, these are your priority stats > +# to INT > +# to maximum ES > +#% to any resistances > #% increased elemental damage with attacks To craft this, you have to spam essence until you hit one with decent stats. For lower budget, just use lower tier of essence. # List of synthesis implicit With priority order > #% increased INT + Spell damage per power charge (belt) > #% Increased Intelligence (belt, ammy) > Gain Onslaught for 4 seconds on hit (ring) If you can't get onslaught ring, go for Opal Ring instead. If you can't afford for the belt, just go for Auxium. Auxium offers the same damage but lower ES pool. ======================================================================================================================================= NORMAL / ABYSS JEWELS Normal jewels are for OFFENSIVE PURPOSE, these are the stats you want to look for. > #% inc. spell damage > #% inc. attack speed (with wands / shield > +# to crit multi > +# to intelligence Abyss jewels are for DEFENSIVE PURPOSE > +# to maximum energy shield > +# to intelligence > +#% to resistances preferably high rolled and T1 flat ES and T1 int. You will be the one to make the call on using a offensive or defensive jewel. if you are on extreme budget, just look for 2-3 useful stats.
