Hi guys, this is my ED/C build but on a chronomancer instead of the popular choice (lich). I wanted to keep the video short so may not have explained some things well enough, do let me know if any question!

Why chrono? As chronomancer we don't deal as much damage as lich, but in return you get a much safer and great recovery. We get 20% slow making slowing unique bosses much more potent. During mapping everything is in slo-mo with this much slow, it is very safe and with temporal rift from the ascendancy you can recover all damage taken easily. I know lich can also have temporal chain on blasphemy, but not to this degree of slow.

You also don't have to invest too heavily into cast speed, the new ascendancy node sands of time gives lots of cast speed already. But some cast speed on gear is preferable, makes the gameplay a lot smoother.

Gear is pretty much big energy shield + resist. Get skill level on wand, amulet and focus. For the focus to get +3 skill level, search for one with lots of ES, spell damage and cast speed and use perfect essence of sorcery, it will guarantee +3.
