My ED/Contagion Gemling Legionnaire is a Path of Exile 2 Gemling Legionnaire build by Feisty-Moose7241, made for the Runes of Aldur league (0.5). It is centered on Essence Drain and plays as a intelligence, spell, projectile, chaos archetype. In Path of Building it reaches 505.27K DPS with 20.98K effective HP, 1 life, 9.1K energy shield. Hello everyone,
I wanna show you my ED/Contagion Gemling Legionnaire. Why Gemling? The new node for additional quality has some pretty nice bonuses. Increased AoE for Contagion, Free Chain for Essence Drain, Curse Magnitudes for Blasphemy and Reduced Mana cost for Curses are just the cherry on the top. The downside is that you need the split personality for Sorceress so you can start at a more optimal place in the tree.

Having double curse with magnitude of 119% Temp Chains and 56% Enfeeble +9k ES makes you near damn unkillable. The only thing that has a decent chance to kill you are "On Death" effects.
The PoB has items that are quite expensive but this is a league-starter friendly build and can be started with very little to non-existent budget. Ideally before using a Scepter you will need to get around 200 spirit to have double curse + covalescence and/or ravenous swarm.
