► Yooooooooo, Exiles!

Here’s a quick showcase of my Poison CI BAMA Necromancer. After multiple rounds of nerfs both direct and indirect (Awakened Gems) the numbers were looking pretty rough. But I’ve managed to recover most, if not all, of the lost damage, which really only matters for Ubers anyway

Spectres: Perfect Guardian Turtle, Perfect Forest Warrior, Perfect Forest Tiger, Spectral Leader, Perfect Conjurer of Rot

AG: Kingmaker, Crown of the Tyrant, Asenath, Windscream, Garb of the Ephemeral

► About the build:

The damage dropped from ~12M to 8.5M per arrow. We lost Awakened Gems, which were massive for poison along with 2% max fire res, 20% shock, and 50% increased minion damage from last league’s borrowed power. On top of that, BAMA itself took a direct hit the league prior. That’s a pretty heavy stack of nerfs.

Fixing it wasn’t simple either. Losing the 2% max fire res for the defensive setup from the Limbs had to be addressed first, which meant investing into another jewel… and giving up even more damage in the process.

So yeah...rough starting point.

And yet, I still managed to bring it back.

Here’s how:

A few things needed to happen to bring the damage back.

First, I stacked as much of this league’s borrowed power as possible, mainly a coined Clone gem (Efficacy) and a 290%+ Widowhail.

Then there’s the new Spectre: Perfect Conjurer of Rot (Malevolence). By running it through Congregation Support as a 5th Spectre. To make room without losing anything, I offloaded Minion Life and Meat Shield onto the Animate Guardian via a coin corrupt.

At first, this was actually a damage loss since we can’t use Generosity on the Spectre aura, but it made the setup much cleaner and more flexible, which opened up gains elsewhere.

Most importantly, it freed up a massive 50% mana reservation along with all the nodes tied to it. With the mana that was left, I was able to fit in a level 30 Aspect of the Spider. This not only recovers damage, but also adds a Hinder source, which synergizes perfectly with a new cluster setup using Touch of Cruelty (Hindered enemies take 10% increased Chaos Damage). By transferring it with Refracting Fogs onto a minion cluster base, we get a strong 8-passive alternative to Voices for poison builds that’s both cheaper and more efficient damage-wise.

The final piece is a new giga-damage quiver. By recombining added physical damage onto the quiver alongside the usual mods, we gain around ~15% more damage.

It’s so strong that even for standard poison quivers (like on life-based versions), physical damage is actually about ~5% better than chaos.

Put it all together and we’re back to last league’s damage.

► How I crafted the Quiver:

Always educate yourself on recombinators. I’m not claiming this is the optimal method, just the process I used:

https://codeberg.org/poe_notes/poe_notes/src/branch/main/Recombinators-dark-images.md

The goal is a 4-mod quiver with:

• Added Physical Damage

• Added Chaos Damage

• Damage over Time Multiplier (Attacks)

• Chaos DoT Multiplier (Attacks)

I achieved this by recombining two 3-mod quivers (one 2 prefix / 1 suffix, the other 1 prefix / 2 suffix).

Step 1 – first quiver (2 suffix):

Recomb DoT Multi + Chaos DoT Multi onto a Hunter Vile Quiver.

Then continue with the standard way to hit flat chaos: Multi-mod → “Suffixes Cannot Be Changed” → Harvest Chaos Reforge to guarantee flat chaos.

Make sure this is your only prefix.

Result:

• Flat Chaos

• DoT Multi

• Chaos DoT Multi

(This is basically my standard poison quiver craft up until this point)

Step 2 – Counter piece:

Recomb Flat Phys + either DoT Multi or Chaos DoT Multi onto another Hunter Vile Quiver.

Then craft “Added Chaos Damage” as a second prefix.

Result:

• Crafted Flat Chaos

• Flat Phys

• DoT Multi or Chaos DoT Multi

The idea here is that if the recomb rolls natural flat chaos, the crafted mod gets removed, kinda. (Not 100% sure this is optimal, but it made sense to me.)

Step 3 – Recombine:

Slam both together.

Baseline odds for a clean 2 prefix / 2 suffix outcome are ~19%, but since both items share mods, the real odds should be higher for this setup, as 2/3s and 3/2s aren't possible outcomes.

I hit it first try, but realistically, expect to miss.

On success:

If you hit the recomb, all that’s left is:

Cannot Roll Attack Mods → Annul / Exalt / meta-mod until you hit % Bow Damage → then bench craft Attack Speed.

On failure:

The result is usually still usable, either as recomb fodder or as a solid fallback quiver with flat chaos or phys.

That makes the process relatively forgiving.
