If you can't afford polaric devastation you can always use pyre in most ignite builds, it's only about 5% dps difference (be careful if you have EE though, make sure no cold hit damage)

The new talent allows us to refresh ignite duration makes replica emberwake a huge dps boost to ignite dd. I played ignite dd for several leagues and I'm tired of Aegis + melding combo so here is the dps version. No awakened gems.

In case someone may ask, corpes from corpsewalker have never been nerfed to 360% hp cap. Spectres are stoneskin frayer + lithomancer, you can find them in delve primeval cities. Auto-enforcer from tunnel heist contract is also good if you don't have access to primeval cities.

Blackflame route is also viable. It has higher ignite dps but lower total dps since blackflame won't apply to burning ground from flame surge. If you want to use blackflame just make sure to stack a lot ignite duration, since emberwake + blackflame = 140% reduced ignite duration.
