This is my Eye of Winter miner PoB ======================================================================================================================================= MANDATORY UNIQUES: Leadership's Price > Make sure you have maxed out brittle effect, the difference between a 14% brittle and 15% brittle is huge. As mentioned in my video, my initial idea was a cold to fire setup with secrets of suffering. But as testings went on, I found out that Leadership's price is insanely strong because it allows us to apply all 3 ailments at max effect easily, Since it ignores damage type, so you don't need fire damage to apply scorched. Painseekers > Painseekers is mandatory, at least 150% more damage. - Indigon > Because we are lacking on increase, indigon is mandatory on our setup. It must be 25% spell dmg, preferably 10% max mana and low increase cost of mana. - Cloak of defiance > Gives us a shit ton of mana and defences. Make sure you have the enchant for max mana. ======================================================================================================================================= LEVELING: I do not recommend leveling the build as a league starter with no gear. So you could either level as > Hollow Palm > Exsanguinate (league start) You should swap once you could fit in 2 set of cluster jewels (2 large 4 mediums) and proper weapons for the build. Make sure you can guarantee 15% brittle on all monsters. Otherwise look for Deep chill on your large cluster jewels ======================================================================================================================================= CLUSTER JEWELS: MUST BE 8 PASSIVES for large, no higher than 8 passive, no 9 or 10. I don't want to hear any complaints about a you buying Scintillating Idea on the middle instead on the right side. Again, DOUBLE CHECK JEWELS BEFORE BUYING THEM. For mediums, it can be 4 or 5. NO 6 passives. These are the stats you would need to look for > #% max. life > #% max. mana > +# to crit multi (spells / elemental / cold) > +# to intelligence Please always remember to balance your attributes for leadership's price. For abyss jewels, you should look for > +# to mana > +# to crit multi > adds # to # (cold / lightning) to spells preferably high rolled and T1 flat. ======================================================================================================================================= ALTERNATE QUALITY GEMS Please pay extra attention to the alternate quality gems I am using in the build. There are a lot of alt quality gems that is very important to the build. Here is your priority list > Divergent Arcane cloak > Divergent arcane surge > Divergent (vaal) righteous fire > Anomalous clarity > Phantasmal lightning warp (if you are using it) > Divergent charged mines > Anomalous eye of winter ======================================================================================================================================= QUESTION & ANSWERS Q: Why elementalist + pathfinder? Why not other ascendancy? A: Elementalist is the biggest damage boost for our build, besides the pathing is very important because we want the mine nodes. Pathfinder grants us ability to sustain flask all the time, it is very important for us to sustain flask charges because the build could not cap resistances without wise oak. Q: I am lacking damage, what am I doing wrong? A: This build is extremely reliant on spending mana and Arcane cloak. It needs setup to deal damage, which makes long fights such as Feared the biggest threat for the build. Also do make sure you have 15% brittle on bosses. This is extremely important because the difference of 1% brittle effect is very massive and you can notice the damage boost when you have capped brittle. Additionally do make sure you have the right gem setup and hydrosphere positioning. Q: How do I make PoB calculate brittle and scorched at the same time? A: Add "Socketed gems have secrets of suffering" to body armour. Q: Do we need projectile speed on this build? A: Yes and no. Projectile speed reduces your damage in a way by a little, but it increases your clear speed.
