Hey exiles it's Remi here, This build was inspired by Akane's EoW Mana Miner and Bubu's CoC CF & Fireball. Link to their videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd_5ufbRA9U&t=147s&ab_channel=AKANEChannel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNoXtNhh7f8
This is the current state of my build, it has around 15ex invested so far. https://pastebin.com/WTi7qG6a
So first of all, this build utilize Secrets of Suffering, which stops me from applying ignite, chill, freeze and shock, but instead I could apply Scorched (enemies have lower ele res), Brittle (enemies takes increase flat crit) and Sap (enemies deals less damage). All these 3 are considered non-damaging elemental ailments.
Painseeker makes my ailment deals as if I am dealing triple damage (max roll), this allows me to have low damage but able to hit the threshold for high ailment effect for bosses. It has a downside of "Crits cannot inherently apply ailments". This doesn't matter because of GGG's wording game. On default, crit has 100% chance to apply ailments on contact, so you don't need to get stuff say #% chance to ignite. With Painseeker, it reduces this to 0, but it does not say that "Crits cannot apply ailments", and that is the main difference. This means that Secrets of Suffering Overrides the downside of Painseeker!
To maximize the ailment effect on bosses like Sirus, I used a large cluster with Deep Chill, and a medium cluster with Deep Chill + Astonishing Affliction to max out my brittle, allowing me to hit 100% crit chance. I would also use anomalous elemental penetration support to further boost our ailment effect.
As this is an indigon build, we want to have a lot of mana recovery by getting a bunch of Liquid Inspiration & Distilled perfection clusters, and a bunch of recovery elsewhere on the tree. Since Enduring Flask got obliterated, I just use a normal Catalyst flask instead, just less QoL. Archmage + Vortex is to boost my mana spent recently for more spell damage. Build is lacking quite an amount of flat sources, so it is ideal to get lvl 21 gems and some sources of flat.
I am still testing this build for now, so I choose not to publish this as a build guide yet.
