This is the build I’ve been playing on Witchhunter. I came up with it when I saw the change to high velocity rounds from the reveal and then the patch notes hit with the change to weapon master too.

First we want to break Armour so we use siege cascade with a last lament. Our first weapon swap tree has Armour nodes mostly and attack speed. We also use movement speed nodes and reduced movement speed penalty to make mapping more comfortable. For mapping this is all we need with an occasional high velocity round for a rare

second for bossing we use high velocity rounds after we get an Armour break. This skill uses our second weapon swap that forgoes all Armour nodes and movement speed for high crit damage and crit chance. We use garukhans resolve for bifurcated crits to double our damage.

A debuff is placed on an enemy when using high velocity rounds (HVR) on an Armour broken enemy. This debuff stores 5% of the damage and applied to every hit after for the duration of the debuff.

Then we use a second skill from our first weapon swap, permafrost bolts. This has 12 shots fired that all do the 5% of the HVR shot. This means for every attack we do it is 60% of the HVR shot. We want to maximize the amount of attacks we can do with permafrost bolts which would mean bypassing reloads.

We bypass reloads with siege cascade and permafrost bolts by using last lament which sacrifices 300 health for every bolt fired while at 1 bolt left. This sounds bad but it’s easily mitigated when using life leech and for it to continue when unreserved life is filled. We use life leech III on both permafrost and siege cascade to bypass this downside.

This makes the build decently tanky with high amounts of life leech while having 23000 Armour while mapping and a sorcery ward value of 10500. We also have Armour applies to elemental damage which helps mitigate it greatly.

The build is very comfortable as it plays as a one button build while mapping and weapon swap is instant now, which makes it super smooth. Bossing has a rotation of siege cascade to Armour break, emergency reload, snipers mark, high velocity rounds, permafrost bolts till debuff is expired. Usually this is enough to kill every boss but it can take two rotations occasionally.
