► Yooooooooo, Exiles!
Here is a Showcase of my endgame Elemental SRS Guardian — a build tanky enough to facetank Uber Maven Memory with no Guard Skills, while still dealing more than enough damage to clear every Uber.
With Guardian sitting at the lowest playrate of any Ascendancy, it has completely fallen out of favor, especially after the introduction of items like Dark Monarch and the absolute dominance of Poison Minions, a playstyle Guardian brings nothing to.
Elemental SRS has mostly been treated as a temporary league-starting tool, a stepping stone before transitioning into Poison HRoC, Animate Weapon, Poison SRS, Spectres or even Bama.
Ele Hit SRS is widely regarded as falling short in endgame scenarios compared to other Minions.
With all that in mind, one thing became clear:
We were long overdue for an endgame Elemental Guardian SRS build.
This setup forgoes Dark Monarch and Replica Midnight Bargain, choosing not to increase the base number of SRS. Instead, it focuses on empowering just six Raging Spirits of Enormity, supported by cast speed scaling to counter the slow base cast time. With enough cast speed it frees up the traditional Unleash/Arcanist Brand 6th support slot for more damage.
By avoiding Dark Monarch and Replica Midnight Bargain, the build can comfortably go CI, run support minions, and fully leverage the Guardian Ascendancy. For Elemental SRS, Guardian still ends up providing the best mix of damage, durability, and utility overall.
In a PoE where Trathus-mod gloves aren’t core yet, Elemental SRS can outperform Poison SRS on every front — as long as you fully lean into its strengths.

(Punishment is set as average in the config. Might be better to just use Flammability tbh.)
Notes:
-
The grafts provide Covered in Ash and Shock and +2 Max Fire Res. They are very important.
-
You need to Shield Charge in place every 4 seconds to keep up the Ash debuff on Bosses, which lines up perfectly with Bastion of Hope.
-
When you have enough Regen you can drop "Time of Need" for "Otherwordly Appendages" on the Breachlord Bloodline for 15% less Fire and Lightning Damage taken.
-
To fully cap your Minion Res you will need Minion Res on a Ghastly or Cobalt Jewel.
-
The Watchers Eye needs to be 15% and Unbound of Destiny at 10% for the best result.
-
You need 4 Hunter Items to enable the damage taken Conversion and 2 Crusader Items if you want the Consecrated Ground.
-
Do not play SRS of Enormity until you have enough cast speed! Use the regular one until then.
Spectres: Perfect Guardian Turtle, Perfect Forest Warrior, Perfect Judgemental Spirit, Spectral Leader
AG: Kingmaker, Crown of the Tyrant (red), Garb of the Ephemeral, Legacy of the Fury, Rare Eldritch Gloves with Intimidate and Exposure on Hit + Chaos Resistance
► About the defense setup:
I’m converting all elemental hit damage taken into Fire and Chaos.
Tempered by War converts 50% of Cold and Lightning damage to Fire, and a Purity of Fire Watcher’s Eye adds another 15%. The remaining 35% is then converted to Chaos:
25% Ele → Chaos from Incandescent Heart
10% Ele → Chaos from the Bound by Destiny jewel
Because the build is CI, all of that Chaos damage is completely negated — effectively giving me 35% reduced elemental hit damage taken.
I specifically say hit damage, because Incandescent Heart’s conversion only applies to hits. This means that 25% of Cold and Lightning DoT will still apply and hit our –30% res. While that sounds bad on paper, with enough regen and the rest of our mitigation layers, it’s barely noticeable. The only real limitation is that you can’t "AFK" in Uber Elder — eventually you’ll need to step out of Uber Shaper’s beam or you will die. That’s the single meaningful weakness of this setup.
► Enabling Bound by Destiny
To activate the 10% Ele to Chaos Conversion on Bound by Destiny, you need four Hunter-influenced items. I met the requirement by crafting a new Hunter ring specifically for this build and duplicating it with Kalandra’s Touch. Unlike my Bama, this character doesn’t use a Hunter quiver, so I decided to convert the shield into a Hunter base instead — simply take any good ES shield and apply a Hunter’s Exalted Orb. There are several strong outcomes you can hit. The 4th Hunter piece is Incandescent Heart. Simply Mythic Orb or Chance Spam a Hunter Saintly Chainmail.
