► Yooooooooo, Exiles!

Here’s a lengthy gameplay showcase of my endgame Elemental SRS Guardian. This should give you a solid feel for the build’s performance, and help you decide if it’s worth investing into.

TL;DR

  • More damage than before with two fewer buttons in the rotation

  • Significantly improved quality of life

  • Still tanks Maven Memory comfortably without Guard skills

  • Now has some of the hardest-hitting explosions → massively improved clear

  • "Fixed" the last defensive gap by adding cold resistance

► Baseline PoB (offensive/bossing): https://pobb.in/F3maba4P4Bd5

(Punishment is set as average in the config.)

► My Current Ingame PoB (defensive): https://pobb.in/lIVo0czCGkYV

Notes:

  • Can click every Altar

  • Can't run: Reflect, No Regen, (Less Recovery Rate)

  • Vibe Killer: Monsters take reduced damage from crits.

  • For clear: Annhilation + Splash (replace Ele Damage + Multistrike)

  • To fully cap your Minion Res you will need Minion Res on a Ghastly or Cobalt Jewel.

  • The Watchers Eye needs to be 15% and Unbound of Destiny at 10% for the best result.

  • You need 4 Hunter Items to enable the damage taken Conversion and 2 Crusader Items if you want the Consecrated Ground.

  • Do not play SRS of Enormity until you have enough cast speed! Use the regular one until then.

Spectres: Perfect Guardian Turtle, Perfect Forest Warrior, Perfect Judgemental Spirit, Spectral Leader, Perfect Blasphemer

AG: Kingmaker, Crown of the Tyrant (red), Garb of the Ephemeral, Legacy of Fury, Rare Eldritch Gloves with Intimidate and Exposure on Hit + Chaos Resistance

► About the Build:

I unleashed this Guardian Elemental SRS build on the public last league, and it showcased just how much potential SRS of Enormity really has when you fully commit to it. Instead of following the usual minion trees, I built it inside my defensive shell, stacking multiple defensive layers while reaching 100% elemental hit conversion, pushing the max elemental hit even beyond what typical Purity of Fire Sublime Vision setups achieve.

Going into this league, though, I initially thought the build got hit hard.

On paper, between the changes to Awakened gems and the loss of some of the previous graft setups, it looked like we were staring at a pretty significant damage loss. And with the removal of the Breach Ascendancy and the Graft notable (15% less Fire Damage taken), the big question was:

Can this still tank Maven Memory comfortably?

But once I actually spent time on it and rearranged a few things, it became clear:

the build is far more stable than expected, and a lot of that “lost damage” is either recoverable or was never as impactful as it seemed in the first place.

► Let’s start with the most insane addition: Annihilation Support

This support is absolutely bonkers for SRS of Enormity.

Explosions are already incredible for minions, but mainly when the minions themselves are triggering them because of the massive generic scaling that can be applied. That’s always been the limitation. Outside of things like Profane Bloom, Gravebind AG setups, or niche cases like Synth explode bows on BAMA, there haven’t been many clean ways to offload explosions onto your minions.

Annihilation finally solves that. It gives us direct access to explosions on our primary minions and SRS of Enormity takes this to another level entirely.

Because of the line: “Minion Hits are Always Critical Strikes”

Every single explosion crits!!! And that opens the door to massive scaling through crit multi, resulting in clear that honestly doesn’t feel like SRS anymore. This is easily the biggest upgrade the build received, and it completely transforms mapping, which has become the biggest pain point of SRS.

► Other Changes:

► Block Setup

I swapped to a block shield, which pushes the EHP into absurd territory. The tradeoff is tighter suffix pressure, costing about 10% Spell Suppression.

► New Pathing + Green Nightmare Jewel

To recover that Spell Supp, I adjusted the tree and picked up the Green Nightmare setup near Magebane. This had a really nice side effect: it passively fixed cold resistance.

That alone moved the build from -30% to +2% cold res, which takes a lot of the edge off cold DoTs, previously one of the few real weaknesses.

► Curse Setup

I dropped the second curse in favor of consistent, always-on damage to further scale explosions.

For mapping, the second curse just wasn’t doing enough, but it remains a valid option if you want to lean more into bossing.

► Spectres

Coins + Congregation Support let us run a 5th Spectre. Right now I’m testing Perfect Blasphemer for the Smite aura, and so far it’s looking very strong.
