Best in slot node for Forbidden Jewel is Knife in the Back (too expensive for me rn) from Assassins, with this node you can give up Swift Assembly and corrupt gem with Charges Trap lv1, given you additional support gem slot.
If you want more damage, which i don't recommend , you can use The Taming Ring since you can inflict up to 4 ailments (3 from belt and 1 from boot with Searing Exarch)
