[POE] 3.18 Assassin CoC Ice Nova - Build guide (High bugdet)

======================================================================================================================== Skill point progression for leveling ======================================================================================================================== From Lv80 - Lv90: -Take the remaining cluster jewel nodes -Take the ES nodes at "purity of flesh" From Lv90 - Lv95: -Take the ES nodes at "Melding" -Take "blast radius" at the thread of hope radius From Lv95 - Lv100 (More damage): -Take the crit multiplier nodes at "Arcane prophecy", including the critical mastery -Take the armour and energy shield master at "Faith and steel" that gives 20% reduce curse effect, this way we will be 100% curse immune From Lv95 - Lv100 (More Energy shield): -Take the ES nodes at "Soul thief" -Take Essence surge at the thread of hope radius -Take any 6% increased maximum energy shield node (Only 1) -Take the armour and energy shield master at "Faith and steel" that gives 20% reduce curse effect, this way we will be 100% curse immune ======================================================================================================================== Important things to take note!! ======================================================================================================================== 1. If you need to take ES as light radius, replace "Blast radius" with it 2. The build comes online properly only at Lv90 onwards 3. If you are starting this as a new character and need a leveling guide, I suggest you check out the low budget CoC video for it 4. You can transit into the lowlife CoC for this build after purchasing the 14th item, follow my google spreadsheet "order to buy" of the items But please remember to fill in the gaps for ES and resistance on the rest of your armour. 5. Running linear narrow maps is the best for this build, maps that literally have narrow pathways example: crimsom temple, toxic sewer, atoll, tower, etc... 6. Inspired learning does not fit well anymore in CoC builds because of how bad stealing 1 modifier is now. I feel inspired learning will only be good if a build can fit in 3, otherwise don't bother. 7. Headhunter and shrines will definitely affect your attack speed, but it doesn't matter because it buffs every other aspects of your DPS and speed as well So don't be too bothered about taking acceleration shrine or getting a haste buff from headhunter, technically you will become stronger by taking those buff 8. The build is definitely tankier than a evasion CoC build, but please do not underestimate things, clear your surrounding before looting any items You will still die to stuffs like mana siphon, arcane buffer (if you dont kill fast enough), corrupter (Reduce ES leech), ignite, etc... So please still becareful 9. The upgrade cost into the headhunter is very steep, it cost about 100ex, but in my opinion it's worth it, it is very fun if you can reach this stage. -headhunter = 70ex -Lv6 awakened CoC = 15ex -Elevated CDRS boots (18% cooldown recovery) = 15ex 10. There are still many ways to min-max this build, but I would say this is more than enough just for mapping, this build is not meant to do bosses. You can, but it will be harder compared to CoC Ice spear. So TLDR: Ice Nova = Mapper Ice spear = Bosser / single target So some of the items that you can upgrade: -Base jewel >> More crit multiplier lines -Shavrone wrapping >> Corrupted with +1 socketed gems or increase damage -Watcher's eye >> Double or triple modifier -Militant faith >> Elemental resistance + elemental damage/area damage -Bottle faith >> Swap with sulphur flask -Ice nova >> Lv21 & quality 20 anomalous Ice nova -Awakened added cold damage >> Lv6 skill gem -Eldritch influence mods on glove >> You can use a higher tier eldritch currency on the gloves 11.
