[PoE 1] Power Siphon Totem Whisperer Smoothest League Start | Day 1 Update & Early Progression

Hello, It's Lazy Exile, and this is the League Starter POB Guide for my 3.25 Legacy of Phrecia Build: POWER SIPHON BALLISTA TOTEM WHISPERER This is meant for early league start, and will help you transition into a more end game Whisperer build that you like. I made this POB like a written guide to help you guys follow along, but also check out my video for more details here: _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Act 1 - 3 | Choose the Loadout [Pre Totem Swap (Lv 1-31)] in the Top Right, then check the Tree, Skills, and Item _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ TLDR: We'll be leveling our character with Galvanic Arrow then Lightning Arrow and clearing the first 3 Acts, getting our first Ascendancy point, take there is more, and swap to our main build which is Power Siphon Ballista Totem. Priority Pathing for SKILLS TREE 1. Aspect of the Lynx 2. Quick Step 3. Primeval Force + Elemental Mastery (inverted) 4. Acuity + Accuracy Mastery (+500 accuracy) 5. Point Blank Check out the SKILLS TAB to see all the gems and link. Remember to check vendor often for 3, 4 links gear. Our regex is going to be, put this in the shop to search for items we want: b-b-r|b-r-b|r-b-b|g-g-r|g-[gr]-g|r-g-g|nne|rint Eventually, you'll need to check for 4 links by yourself: 2 blue 1 red 1 green for Power Siphon For the ITEMS pretty much anything works, we don't need a weapon, BUT... Focus on getting BOW (we are looking for flat damage of any type) and QUIVER (serrated or fire arrow base are both good) upgrade Items that we want: Act 1 - Any Sapphire Rings to help with Merveil's fight (Act 1 Boss) Any Wands with Add # Lightning Damage to Spell and Attack (Spiral Wand base is best - Lv 24+) - Talk to Clarissa in Act 3 to see if she sells it Chain Belt (for Wand recipe) Craft your wand: 1. Buy/Pick up any Spiral Wands with Add # Lightning Damage to Spell and Attack 2. Use Orb of Transmutation to make it magic (if not already magic) 3. Buy a chain belt 4. Use Orb of Transmutation to make it magic (if not already magic) 5. Sell to Vendor: x1 Wand + x1 Chain belt + x1 Whetstone 6. You'll get a Spiral Wand with % Increased Spell Damage At hitting level 31 - Level up Lightning Arrow to level 6, and go clear NORMAL LAB. After clearing normal lab, take there is more ascendancy node, then swap to the Power Siphon Ballista Totem Setup. You should be in Act 3 or early Act 4 by this point. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Act 3 - Level 60 | Choose the Loadout [PS Totem Swap (Lv 31-60)] in the Top Right, then check the Tree, Skills, and Item _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ TLDR: Continue with the game, we level up our PS Totem setup at The Dock, then continue with the campaign. Keep your gear upgraded, get decent resistance gear, and pick up all the loots, especially wand. Prepare currency to get Piscator and Mind of the Council (most likely will be expensive). Get an infinite pursuit for Cruel Lab. After the 1st lab done, go respec your SKILLS TREE. Go to Kingsmarch then talk to Fautus to respec. You can buy most of your gem in The Library. Right after buying it, go to The Dock, and run through it a few times to level up your gems (recommended). Check SKILLS to know what to buy and if you don't have a 4-link ready, be on the look out for it. Priority Path for SKILLS TREE 0. Swapping requires 5 points respec, removes Aspect of the Eagle & Lynx keep Quickstep, Acuity + Accuracy Mastery, get Surveillance, Watchtowers + Totem Mastery (60% crit), Point Blank, Heartseeker + Critical Mastery 1. Piercing Shot 2. Lethality + Projectile Mastery (pierce) 3. One with Nature 4. One of Nature + Elemental Mastery 5. Assassination 6. Arcing Blows + Lightning Masterty For your ITEMS stats priority: 1. Life & Mana 2. Resistances 3. Added Flat Damage (ideally Lightning Damage to Attack) 4. Attributes 5. Benchcraft Resistance to help cap resistance 6. After level 48+, looks for Amethyst rings to help with chaos resistance _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Act 60 - Early Mapping | Choose the Loadout [PS Early Mapping (Lv 60-85)] in the Top Right, then check the Tree, Skills, and Item _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ TLDR: Save your money, do early Heist run, check for demolition, lockpicking contract from level 65+, buy PISCATOR'S VIGIL and MIND OF THE COUNCIL ASAP. Budget Wand is ECLIPSE SOLARIS. Do 3rd lab before finishing the campaign so you don't get the resistance penalty. Then finish Kitava and swap aura to Purity of Elements. Transition to mapping setup. Cap Resistance is a must, get a good Mana Flask, ideally Foreboding, or Gypsum Prefix. Ascendancy Order should be: there is more -> an infinite pursuit -> we know all -> breathe deep Priority Path for SKILLS TREE 0. Spec out of these nodes when you can, Finese, Quick Step, One with Nature, Heartseeker, Acuity, Keep Totem Mastery (60% crit) and Assassination until you get 2 minimum power charges craft on your rings 1. Heading to MoM and grabbing notables when you can. Ideally you get MoM somewhere when you get to map (if not right away it's okay) 2. Grab Utmost Swiftness and Attributes Mastery 3. Balance out your critical strike chance, chance to suppress spell, accordingly Note: When enter map, take Totem Mastery (totem taunt) Reference to ITEMS for the actual gear, here are some optional cheap UNIQUE ITEMS to help early on (credit to r/zork-tdmog for suggesting these to me) Wand: ECLIPSE SOLARIS, ASHCALLER (early game Helmet: FRACTAL THOUGHTS, THRILLSTEEL (early game) Gloves: DOEDRE'S TENURE Boots: WAKE OF DESTRUCTION Amulet: THE IGNOMON Ring: WINTERWEAVE Belt: PRISMWEAVE _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ BONUS _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - No WASD, make sure you bind left click to movement, and make your skill always attack without moving - Portal scroll is not free, pick it up, bind it to a key to save time (you can also quit to character selection and relog to save scroll, not recommended for newer player) - Adds socket with jeweller orb - Link socket with orb of fusing, only linked socket will properly support a skills - Always upgrade your life/mana flasks (also available in shop) - Chaos Orb is the common currency (not during campaign), Exalt Orb is very rare (never slam your item) - You can craft your item with Orb of Transmutation and Orb of Augmentation.
