Big Ducks's Notes

---------------------------------------- WARNING WARNING WARNING ---------------------------------------- Path of Exile 3.15 Expedition League is potentially a turning point for the game. It is becoming MUCH more difficult. Understand, that I will do everything in my power to properly update this PoB with information as it becomes available. Regardless of what information we get, the true effects of the potential nerfs will only really come to light once we play the league. If you have any issues or need guidance on this build join my discord, linked in the description of every one of my videos. Understand that I myself am not capable of helping so many people but the community is extremely helpful. That being said they are not there specifically to help you. They play the game just like you do and if you want to be successful in Path of Exile you have to put the work in. Don't expect them to be Google for you. ----------------------- WHAT WE KNOW ----------------------- 3.15 will be massively nerfing quite a few things. SUPPORT GEMS There are a few new "rules" that have been given to us and this is a direct quote from GGG "https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3147157" Damage multipliers between Support Gems have been standardised following these rules: 1 - Gems that provide a useful benefit in addition to damage usually grant less than 25% more damage at gem level 20. 2 - Those that provide only a damage bonus or have only a very mild restriction or penalty grant around 30-35% more damage. 3 - Those with downsides or restrictions grant between 38% and 48% more damage, depending on how severe the cost of using the support is. Going off of these rules Creeping Frost should be relatively fine as most of its support gems fall into category 3 or 4 and the downsides do not impact us for the most part. FLASKS Flasks are going to be a point of interest going into this patch. We really and truly do not and will not know what is ideal until we explore this system. Currently expect that EVERYTHING you know about flasks to be up in the air. I have done my best to account for these changes but until PoB gets updated with all of the new information I am limited in what I can do. Do your best, I believe in you :) --------------------- INTRODUCTION --------------------- Please check the build guide on my YouTube channel at https://youtube.com/c/bigducks Liking my Videos and Subscribing to my YouTube channel help me to keep bringing you more content like this, if you just grab the PoB please consider giving me a like to help me out, I appreciate all of your support! Keep in mind there may be multiple videos per build, always look for the most recent video. Stormblast Mine -> Hybrid Life / Energy Shield Creeping Frost -> Low Life Creeping Frost This is a build mainly designed for new players, someone who wants an easy time learning bosses or someone who is returning to the game after some time. It is capable of doing all content BUT it is not a FAST build. This build is very consistent and will get you through everything that the game has to offer but you will not be zooming like some other builds. This build also does have the potential to do very high end game damage and be extremely powerful but it requires in depth knowledge of the game and some currency for the Low-Life version. None of this is required to be successful however. ------------ RATINGS ------------ GOOD -> Clearing, Survival, Elemental Damage Taken, Chaos Damage Taken, Playstyle, Trade League, Softcore, Cost, Damage Taken Over Time, Solo Self Found MEH -> Bossing, Physical Damage Taken, Movement Speed, Hardcore BAD -> N/A DIFFICULTY OF PLAY - VERY LOW This build requires little to no experience and little to no gear to be able to complete through T16 maps and finish the atlas. It does not kill bosses very quickly but it is very GOOD at getting the boss kill. This build stacks a serious amount of chill effectiveness which will slow most bosses in the game down enough that you should be able to dodge all of their abilities and attacks. ----------------------- CONFIGURATION ----------------------- The current configuration is set to reflect the damage you would do while clearing maps and then finishing off a map boss. It does not do any "PoB warrioring" and should reflect typical boss damage you could do during a map as long as you are keeping up Creeping Frost, Cold Snap and not spamming those abilities which will overwrite Elemental Equilibrium. KEEP IN MIND THAT IF YOU HAVE *ANY* ADDED COLD DAMAGE TO SPELLS Elemental Equilibrium WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY, more info on EE below. For accurate damage on a boss such as Sirus account for turning flasks on/off if you are unable to maintain flask charges throughout the fight. Also account for Frenzy Charges, during clear we are able to maintain them easily, but for bosses the only way to keep them active is through Vaal Cold Snap. --------------------------------------------- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS --------------------------------------------- Q: Bandit? A: Kill All. --- Q: Pantheon? A: Solaris and Abberath. --- Q: I can't find an item with those exact stats what do I do? A: You don't need the exact stats on every single item, Jewels are a big culprit for people getting confused. Get what stats you can and prioritize the stats in the defensive and offensive sections below. --- Q: The leveling skills are all level 1, do I keep them at that level? A: No, this is to signify that it is a leveling skill and you level it up as you go. --- Q: What is Elemental Equilibrium and how do I use it? A: Elemental Equilibrium This Keystone causes enemies HIT by any ELEMENTAL damage type to GAIN resistances to that type and LOSE resistances to all other ELEMENTAL damage types. You typically only want to spec into this if you know what you are doing or if you have the Trigger wand for Storm Brand. Otherwise skip until later. We make use of this through lightning spells, things like Storm Brand or Orb of Storms. Our abilities have an initial HIT but the vast majority of their damage is done over time. So if we apply our 2 Cold DoTs and then allow Storm Brand or Orb of Storms to hit afterwards we benefit from the MORE damage multiplier. It is suggested that after you swap to Elemental Equilibrium you use a Hextouch Support Storm Brand linked with your curses instead of relying on Arcanist Brand. --- Q: The main ability has 7 links, which do I use? A: For clear you will swap out one of the green gems in your main link for Greater Multiple Projectiles, the ideal one to swap out is Swift Affliction. If you only have a 4 link swap out Controlled Destruction. --- Q: How do I stop dying? A: BOSS SLAMS WILL KILL YOU ON ALMOST ANY BUILD. YOU CANNOT TANK BOSS ATTACKS IN PATH OF EXILE WITHOUT A *VERY* SPECIFIC BUILD. That being said, Make sure you have the following: 75+ of ALL Elemental Resist (Resistances max at 75, having a bit over will help for ele weakness maps etc.) 50+ (Ideally 75+) Chaos Resist, this is a HYBRID build and chaos resist is very important. High tier Life roll on every piece that can have life Some pieces can have % Life on this build, such as Jewels, Belt, etc. Energy Shield % and + To Energy Shield on any piece that is an Energy Shield Base Steelskin on Left Click Keep your Flasks up at all times Dont stand still near monsters, stay away from them and MOVE Enemies that are chilled will have a substantially harder time hitting you. Make sure that you keep chill effects on everything around you. Make sure that you are making use of Enduring Cry to heal when needed and not getting TOO close to enemies, you are capable of taking a hit but you should not face tank. This is a caster / ranged build. --- Q: How do I do more damage? A: This build scales damage through two major ways, Damage Over Time Multiplier (Including Cold DoTM) and Chill Effect. We support our Cold Snap with Bone Chill which causes enemies chilled by it to take additional cold damage (MORE multiplier) from our abilities. These two combined allow us a very easy way to scale our base damage quite high, there is plenty of these stats on the tree as well as being easily available on items and cluster jewels. Beyond that some stats we are interested in getting are: + to Level of Spell Gems is by far the most damage beyond DoT Multipliers and Chill Effect up to 200% after that Damage Over Time / Cold Damage / Elemental Damage / Damage / Spell Damage --- Q: I want to do more damage, I see a transition to a Low Life version, is it worthwhile? A: The Low Life version is the final endgame version of this build, it does more damage but it requires a different playstyle and MUCH more investment. I would suggest that you only transition into the Low Life version if you are comfortable with how auras, mana and life reservation, energy shield recovery, and energy shield regeneration works. There is a section detailing Low Life below. --- Q: My question isn't in here, what do I do? A: Double check that you have looked through the video and this PoB. If you can't find it you can join my discord, linked in the description of all of my videos. Please remember that the people in the discord channels are very helpful but it is not their job to assist you. This is a knowledge based game and you have to put in the work to be successful. ------------------ LEVELING UP ------------------ Prioritize The Gems you need immediately, Main Links > Movement > Auras > Utility. Check the "Skills" tab for which gems to grab. Levels 1 - 11 || Stormblast Mine Gearing - Focus on getting Movement Speed boots, Gear with the Links that you need, Life and Resists as well as Sapphire Rings for the Merveil fight. - Pick up Blue/Yellow items and sell them unidentified to the vendor for Transmutation Shards and Identified for Alteration Shards. Tips - Make ample use of smoke mine if you want to move faster through the acts, you can make your life easier by putting Detonate Mine on left click, detonate on left click will also allow you to easily deal damage with stormblast mine as you move around. - Level Clarity as much as your mana can handle, too high of a level and you will end up not having enough total mana pool to cast. I suggest leveling it enough to be able to cast 2-3 times. --- Levels 12 - Endgame || Creeping Frost Gearing - Focus on topping off your resists early on and re-checking them after the Act 5 Boss and Act 10 Boss, grab as much life as you can and work on getting all of your links setup on your gear. - In act 2 at around level 20 you can use a Vendor Recipe to get a Cold Damage Added to Spells wands. That Recipe is -> BLUE Wand + Alteration Orb + BLUE or YELLOW Sapphire Ring = Cold Damage Added to Spells wand. YELLOW Ring will be a higher tier mod but will require a higher level, I suggest waiting until 20 and doing the yellow recipe, use an essence on the ring so you can save your Alchemy orbs. You can make 2 of these wands but later on you will want to use a shield for Block, around when you're obtaining Glancing Blows and the block nodes. - Do not ignore links, if you feel your damage is lacking it is 100% because you are not setting up your links properly. Every spell is important, and you should be prioritizing links in softcore. You can run a few white pieces of gear with resists crafted on them with proper links until you can get your items together. - Don't ignore Essences, they can be very powerful for turning white pieces of gear that have proper links into resist / life gear. Tips - Steelskin on Left click will auto cast it as you walk around for an extra defensive layer. - Very early on Creeping Frost can do decent damage by "shotgunning" which means all of the projectiles explode and are able to deal damage to a single target. - Make sure you are using ALL of your abilities if you need more damage. Stack Creeping Frost + Cold Snap + Arcanist Brand on bosses to get maximum damage potential. - Don't forget about your flasks, update your life and mana flasks consistently and make sure to stay on top of getting new flasks as they become available to you. There is a quicksilver flask available from both Mercy Mission (Act 1) as well as The Great White Beast (Act 2) A Silver flask is available from The Key to Freedom (Act 5) There is a Quartz flask available from The Silver Locket (Act 7) ------------------------------ LOW LIFE TRANSITION ------------------------------ Keep in mind that going Low-Life is NOT REQUIRED to do all of the content. It requires significant investment and a radical changing of your tree. ONLY ATTEMPT THIS TRANSITION IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED PLAYER AND YOU HAVE FIRST OBTAINED ALL OF THE REQUIRED ITEMS. Required Before Transitioning - Level 90 - ALL 4 Labs Complete - Shavronnes Wrappings 6 Linked - Prism Guardian - Large Thread of Hope Jewel - Energy From Within Jewel - Energy Shield based rares to swap into - The Cluster Jewels (or similar) listed in the Level 90 Low Life Tree - 50 to 60 Regret Orbs or Respec Points - All of the skill gems listed in the Low Life section Low Life is a slightly different playstyle as you won't be able to easily refill your energy shield pool. Your only "Oh shit" button is Vaal Discipline. VD + Wicked Ward will allow you to recharge your Energy Shield until it is full. You can swap out "Vile Bastion" for "Profane Bloom" if you like, you will need to use the Presence of Chayula amulet to re-gain stun immunity. The Profane Bloom playstyle will increase your clear and give you a little more Energy Shield but will reduce your Single Target. Corrupting a Shavronnes for +2 or +2+2 is a HUGE Dps boost but extremely risky, good luck :) ------------------------------ GENERAL PLAYSTYLE ------------------------------ The video guide will be MUCH better at showing how to do this but I will give you some basics. - Make sure to keep Creeping Frost as well as Cold Snap on the enemy at all times, on bosses don't overcast these abilities as you want to make sure you are keeping Elemental Equilibrium going from your Lightning Spells that trigger on your wands. - Make use of your defensive abilities when they are needed, Enduring Cry, Vaal Discipline, etc. - This is not a FACETANK build, you cannot sit in their face and tank damage all day. Move around, avoid damage and keep your enemies slowed. - Use Flame Dash for crossing Gaps or for dodging boss abilities and such. - Use your Arcanist Brand on difficult enemies or localized encounters (ultimatums, legions, etc) to massively boost your damage. ------------------------ CLUSTER JEWELS ------------------------ Cluster Jewels are good but not super important for this build. Keep in mind for Low Life you will want the set listed in 90 - Low Life. There is info on Crafting these in the Crafting Section. WARNING - WARNING - WARNING - NOTE: THIS SECTION MAY BE OUT OF DATE AS DoTM CLUSTERS ARE GETTING MASSIVE CHANGES. THESE CLUSTERS SHOULD STILL WORK BUT MAY NOT BE IDEAL. THIS WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS I KNOW. - Large Clusters Cold Cluster - These can be difficult to get early on depending on the current meta. Cold Clusters tend to be in high demand so even the bases can be problematic to obtain. If you are interested in farming these yourself then either farm a low level one in Quarry by resetting the area over and over again until you get Delirium Mirrors or you can farm these in Heists. I suggest buying them. - Nodes to look for are Disorienting Display and Cold Blooded Killer. Deep Chill is the best node for the third slot but it is lowest priority by a substantial margin unless you are low life. As far as I am aware cold effectiveness for this build theoretically caps out at 200% due to the fact that the chilling ground left by our abilities chills for a flat rate of 10% which when increased by 200% should theoretically hit the cap of 30% overall chill. (I don't know this for a fact as I could not find any direct comments by GGG in this regard. If you can find one please link it to me) Elemental Cluster - In a pinch you can replace the Cold Cluster with an Elemental Cluster if it is cheaper, however it is substantially worse for damage as you cannot obtain any Cold DoT Multi. Still go for Disorienting Display and beyond that anything else solid you can obtain (most are good) - Medium Clusters Cold DoT Multi - The best node here is Brush With Death, it is also one of the rarest. Your best bet is to try and combine it with Deep Chill as is it very common. Technically the best combo for pre low life is BWD and Cold Blooded Killer, however LL uses BWD and DC. Curse Effect - The only reason to use a Curse Cluster over another Cold DoT Multi one is if you can obtain one with Wish For Death, ideally you would also have Evil Eye. - Small Clusters Chaos Resist - The main purpose of this cluster is to get 3 passives and as many useful stats as possible (chaos res, other res, dexterity, life) - Increased Effectiveness is a VERY powerful modifier here. - This is an easy way to obtain Chaos Resist early on but is better replaced later once you fill Chaos Resist. Chance to Block Spell Damage - This is used to cap your Spell Block if you are lacking some. Ideally 2 Passive with Mystical Ward but Mage Hunter will also work. - Try to get other useful stats here as well, Chaos Res, Dex, Str etc. Energy Shield - The only node we really want here is Energy From Naught, 2 Passive and any other solid stats you can pick up, Chaos Res, Dex, Str etc. ------------------- ASCENDANCY ------------------- Occultist - Our ascendancy provides us many extremely helpful stats, and is the obvious choice for a Cold Damage Over Time build. Void Beacon - This provides us extra damage vs nearby enemies as well as 100% reduced Life regeneration rate for nearby enemies. This Life Regen is extremely useful for things such as the Maven. Frigid Wake - This provides us Chill + Freeze immunity which frees up a flask mod as well as 15% More Cold Damage. This also provides us consistent mini freezes to nearby enemies and a Damage Reduction from Hits for Nearby Chilled Enemies. Vile Bastion - One of our main sources of Energy Shield Recovery. It also provides us our source of Stun Immunity. Malediction - Addition Curse as well as 15% increased Effect of Curse is a significant damage upgrade, as well as the Malediction debuff being a 10% less damage taken and 10% more damage done. A Note about Profane Bloom - Some people like using this node, I personally do not. I find it not useful at all as we clear perfectly fine as is. Single Target and ES Recovery are what this build lacks and a chance to explode dealing Chaos damage does not do much for us. That being said if you are going the Low Life version and prefer to use Presence of Chayula you can swap Vile bastion for Profane Bloom if you see fit. -------------------------------------------------- CRAFTING AND OBTAINING THE GEAR -------------------------------------------------- REMEMBER that you can always just buy all of the final pieces from the trade website. Crafting most of the time is cheaper. Typically leveling items or items in the "Budget" section that are just Life / Resists and that are not hard to obtain will not be included in this section. There will be items that simply aren't in need of detailed crafting notes, I will mention that in those cases. Weapons / Offhands Trigger Wand ALL versions of the build use the Trigger Wand craft. You can buy one from the Trade Website, you can farm Syndicate for random 1hands and 2hands to try and Unveil it yourself or you can find someone on my Discord that has it available for Craft, make sure to check their crafting prices and be sure to tip them! - Budget Option There are a few very easy ways to craft an acceptable early game Wand. - Essences of Woe These will give you a solid Spell Damage Mod that you can then try to pair with any other useful mods such as Cold DoT Multi or Cold Damage. Try to make sure that you have an open Suffix for crafting Trigger a Socketed Spell when you use a Skill. - Low Level Wand It is SURPRISINGLY easy to craft a very powerful wand for extremely cheap early on for this build. Grab an ilvl 4 Driftwood Wand, you can find one of these on the ground in a ilvl 4 zone in Act 1. ilvl 4 is very important as it allows +1 to cold and cold damage over time multi modifiers and not much else. Take this wand and simply hit it with any random harvest rerolls you find, you can use anything and if you manage to hit a really solid wand of any other type sell it and continue on. It is not uncommon to be able to roll +1 to spells and their corresponding DoT Multi together this way. Obviously cold rerolls are going to be best for our needs but don't overlook keeping a few of these in your stash and tossing rerolls on them. Alternatively you can use single Frigid Fossils but I find that Harvest gives better results. You can also toss Alteration orbs at a wand to try and get +1 very early on but this is not worth it IMO. - Expensive Option This strategy was originally popularized by Karvarousku. - Obtain an ilvl 2 Driftwood wand, you can obtain these in the coast area outside act 1. - Use T1 Essences of Woe until you land +1 to Cold Spells. Ideally you want to have an open prefix and an open suffix here. You can use things like Prefix -> Suffix Beastcrafts and Annulment Orbs to modify one if it ends up being full. - Once you have a Wand with +1 to Cold Spells and the Essence of Woe mod on it with an open prefix and an open suffix, craft Prefixes cannot be changed and scour the item, leaving you with a rare item with only +1 to Cold Spells and the Essence of Woe mod. - Craft Multimod on the item and then craft T1 Crafted Cold Damage Over Time Multiplier and Trigger Socketed Spells. - From this point you will have an open Prefix due to the changes to DoTM being a Suffix in 3.15 I am not 100% sure what is best here, you could exalt slam or try to go for a Harvest Slam of some kind, will give more info once we know more. - Craft Aspect of the Spider Elsewhere since the suffixes are now full due to the mod swap. Helmet - Budget Options - Use Rime Gaze in this slot, it is a relatively cheap and common unique. If you are on SSF and cannot obtain this for some reason use a random rare with resists or consider using the expensive option below. - Expensive Options - Obtain an ilvl 85 Hubris Circlet with the Redeemer Influence. - Use 2 Socket Resonators with a Dense Fossil and a Frigid Fossil. The goal here is to hit "Nearby Enemies Have -9% to Cold Res and some decent energy shield modifiers as well as resists if you happen to roll them. - Use Prefix to Suffix beastcrafts to free up room for Crafted Energy Shield if needed. Alternatively craft resistance if you get good energy shield mods. - An even more expensive option would be a dual influence -Cold Res and Nearby Enemies take increased Elemental damage helmet. There are many steps to obtaining this helmet and it is a very very high end option that is not needed by any means. -You will need to find an ilvl 85 Redeemer Hubris Circlet with the -Cold Res mod on it, and then also a sacrificial Shaper helmet with the Nearby Enemes Take Ele mod on it. You can always swap these for whatever is cheaper, just remember that it affects the order than you use the Awakener's Orb. - You CAN attempt to get elevated versions of these modifiers first if you REALLY want to go big but it substantially increases the cost. You will need to get each of these modifiers on a helmet at T1 along with a single extra influence modifier, no more than that, and then use a Maven's orb on the item, it will have a 50% chance to hit the proper mod. - Once you have your bases you will use an Awakener's Orb on the sacrificial helmet with the bad base and then the second use of the Orb on the GOOD base. - Your resulting helmet will have random mods, hopefully you rolled some Energy Shield mods or resists and such, craft anything you are capable of. Chestpiece - Budget Options - Use a random corrupted 6 Link you can buy from the trade website or find in a vaal side area early on. This build does not need anything specific in this slot. Life and resists with the proper colors. - Expensive Options - A +2 Duration or AoE Corrupted 6 Link Carcass Jack is a solid upgrade but I would say you are better off spending your money on pushing towards Low-Life. If you are intent on not going low life but want to push the build then Carcass Jack is a good option for corrupting. You could even double corrupt for +1+2 or +2+2 if you are an absolute madlad. - A 6 Link Shavronne's Wrappings is used for the Low Life version of this build, you can once again corrupt or double corrupt this item going for +1+2 or +2+2 if you are feeling spicy. Gloves - Budget Options - There is nothing special for this slot, we are looking for Cold DoT Multi as well as resists, life and energy shield. You can attempt to craft these if you like with fossils but I highly suggest buying a random pair. If in SSF try with either Dense / Fridgid if you are LL or Pristine + Frigid if you are Hybrid on a pair of Hunter Influenced gloves that are ilvl 80+. - Expensive Options - You COULD go for a Veil Slam prefix of +2 to Socketed AoE gems and put your Cold Snap / Vortex into your gloves, that would be an option but I feel it is not needed. It would interfere with proper ES or Life mods being able to be rolled on the gloves and wouldn't give a HUGE increase. If you want to go for this make sure that you get gloves with Cold DoT Multi and full suffixes before going for the Veiled Slam. Boots - Nothing Special for this slot, you want resists, life, energy shield and movement speed. Amulet - Budget Options - There is nothing special for a budget amulet, I suggest getting an amulet with defensive stats and upgrading to damage stats as available such as + to level of spells. - For Low Life you can use Presence of Chayula but I suggest that you go with a +1+1 amulet instead when available. - Expensive Options - The ideal amulet will be a +1 cold +1 int amulet. This is true for all versions of the build. The other stats will be mostly random and itemizing them properly will be very expensive as the +1+1 is gotten with an awakener's orb. A Citrine amulet is best as we need the Str and Dex. - Obtain 2 bases, one with +1 to cold spells and no other influenced modifiers, and then another base with +1 to int spells and no other influence modifiers. Whichever one is the citrine amulet will be your "good" base. - Use the awakener orb on the "bad" base first and then the "good" base second and you will be left with a +1+1 amulet with random mods. From this point you can do a few things. - You can get lucky and have a great outcome (unlikely) - Have a mediocre outcome which will let you craft maybe a single mod. - If you have no 3rd prefix you can craft prefixes cannot be changed, scour it and attempt to multimod or otherwise craft it. Ideally for the Life version you want life and some resists (chaos is good) For the Low-Life version you want as much chaos res as you can possibly get, and then ES and other res is solid. Rings - Budget Options - Simply go for Life, Resists and any other solid stats you can find, nothing special here. - Expensive Options - Obtain an ilvl 80 Hunter ring (grab multiples if you can) with a base of your choosing (resistance, life, opal) - Use Reroll Caster or Reroll Caster Mods More common Harvest crafts whenever they show up, there are only 5 total caster mods available on a hunter ring. 4 of those are the curses you are looking for and 1 is cast speed. You can be picky here and continue to reroll until you get the mods you are looking for, but the reason I said to try and obtain multiple bases is that you can use the rings that arent as good but roll the curses early on and swap them around as you slowly craft better items. You can also sell decent ones that don't have the stats you're looking for. Belt - Budget Options - Grab any Belt with Life / ES / Resists that you need. Nothing special for this slot. - Expensive Options - The main expense here is the base, rolling it is not difficult but the base is very rare and expensive. - You're going to want a Crusader Influenced ilvl 82+ Crystal Belt, 84 has higher resists, 85 and higher flask charges gained. - Roll this belt with Single Dense Fossils until you obtain the item you're looking for. Jewels - Thread of Hope - This is a drop off of Sirus, you want Large Ring, with as good of a resist roll as you can get - Corrupting Blood Immunity Jewel - This is a random corruption of any Jewel, it is rare and best that you buy a life / generic damage one with the mod once and use it the entire league. - DoT Jewel - You do not need this specific Jewel, get jewels with Life%, Some damage modifiers and any resists that your build needs. Cluster Jewels - Large Clusters When crafting Large Cold Clusters your best bet is to go with Single Frigid Fossils or Cold / Cold+ Harvest Rerolls. Cold Blooded Killer + Deep Chill are rather easy to get together, however getting Disorienting Display along with them is very difficult. I suggest that if you land Disorienting Display and any other good mod to simply use that cluster. Best way to obtain this Cluster is to purchase it. - Medium Clusters Cold DoT Multi These are quite easy to roll 2 solid mods. Any of the Cold DoT Multi mods together is completely worth. If you manage to land Brush With Death and ANY other worthwhile mod make sure to keep it. Curse Effect If you have Disorienting Display on a cluster already prioritize Wish For Death and any other acceptable mod. If you do not have DD then prioritize Evil Eye. The best way to obtain this is Curse / Curse+ Harvest Rerolls or Aetheric Fossils. - Small Clusters Spell Block Mage Hunter is best here, Caster / Caster+ Harvest Rerolls or Aetheric Fossils are solid ways to get this, Alteration orbs are also a good choice as this is a common mod to roll. Chaos Res. You are looking for mainly Chaos Resistance / Effect of nodes here. However there are plenty of solid Notables as well that give damage over time. Either are fine. Roll with Chaos / Chaos+ Harvest Rerolls or pretty much any Harvest rolls. Fossils are less useful here. Energy Shield This is only for Low-Life and you are only looking for Energy From Naught. Dense Fossils are solid, Reroll+ Defences Harvest Rerolls is probably best here because of extra mods available. ------------------------ FINAL THOUGHTS ------------------------ A build that has held tried and true for quite some time. With some significant upgrades to the endgame as well as the leveling trees this build is fully fledged and should have everything it needs to conquer all of the content.
