Controlled Destruction 2. Elemental Focus 3. Cold Snap 4. Tempest Shield Act 3 - DROP WINTERTIDE BRAND AFTER AQUIRING VORTEX FROM THE QUEST IN ACT 3 Orb of Storms (B) / Tempest Shield (B) / Frost Bomb (B) Vortex (B) - Controlled Destruction (B) - Elemental Focus (B) - Efficacy **Vortex works differently in that the on hit effect will no longer chill becuase of elemental focus but our damage over time will, hence why we still use the gem** Cold Snap (B) - Efficacy (B) - Hypothermia (G) **Cold Snap is use primarly for freeze and chill with extra damage for pack clearing and boss killing** Flame Dash (B) - Arcane Surge (B) Shield Charge (R) - Fortify (R) - Faster Attacks (G) **If you need to craft some extra str do so but priority resists first. If you need to wait a bit on this setup thats fine but know that not running fortify will make you quite a bit weaker defensivly** Malevolence (B) / Disicpline (B) **Get these up and running asap, if mana is an issue disable until you first lab and you should be fine after** DO THE LIBARAY QUEST IN ORDER TO PURCHASE THE FOLLOWING GEMS: 1. Shield Charge 2. Faster Attacks 3. Fortify The library will also give you access to ALL skills gems regardless of class/spec up until this point. GEMS FOUND IN ACT 3: 1. Vortex 2. Shield Charge (Library) 3. Faster Attacks (Library) 4. Fortify (Library) 5. Malevolence 6. Disicpline Act 4 Unless you get lucky with a 5 link or 6 link, I would run with a 4 link until you get your hands on a 5 link setup. I ran with a 4 link well into white maps with little issue. Links will be the same as above with the following changes - Cold Snap (B) - Efficacy (B) - Hypothermia (G) - Bonechill (B) Flame Dash (B) - Arcane Surge (B) / Cast When Damage Taken (R) - Steelskin (R) Malevolence (B) / Disicpline (B) / Vaal Disicpline (B) / Vaal Cold Snap (B) **You should have some currency at this point, I would priotitize grabbing these two Vaal skills asap as they help considerably with the leveling process GEM FOUND IN ACT 4 1. Cast When Damage Taken 2. Bonechill Act 4 PLUS Moving forward I would prioritize these gems and refer to the skills tab for further information on gem levels and colors if need be. Try and start moving towards 4links as soon as possible while keeping resists as high as possible, this is very important for Act 6. I personally change my "Shift+Q" hot key to space bar in the keybind options and put my flame dash there. I use the shield charge setup for my right click and my vortex on my left click. If you run into mana issues, try using clarity to help and/or craft mana regen on gear if possible or grab them on some rings.
