This is a super meme build that I started working on the second I heard that Boneshatter was bugged, so that each Trauma stack counted as a buff, which can be abused with Mantra of Flames for massive flat added fire damage.
I plan to make a more detailed post about the build once I have worked out all the kinks, but the general idea is:
- Divergent Boneshatter gives 1% attack speed per trauma stack at 20% quality
- Using Enhance and Dialla's Malefaction we can push the gem to 60% quality, which then gives 3% attack speed per stack
- Our stacks now each give 3% more damage (from a lvl 8 Boneshatter), 3% increased attack speed, and 5-12 added flat fire damage (In the post, the ~400 stacks thus give me 1200% more dmg, 1200% increased attack speed, and 2000-4800 flat fire damage, although it is more realistic to hover around 100-200 stacks, depending on the situation)
- Trauma stacks have a base duration of 6 seconds, which is extended with various sources of skill effect duration to ~15-20 seconds
- The massive skill effect duration lets us have permanent uptime on Enduring Cry and almost permanent uptime on Immortal Call
- We sustain the self-damage from trauma (in this post, ~400k self-damage per second, before mitigations) using various sources of reduction, and the massive regen we get from the Unbreakable Juggernaut ascendancy node (In the image, you can see how I achieved 100k life regen per second solely through this node)
The rest is history, which I plan to detail in aforementioned future post.
I have done a couple of T16 maps, which feels sorta smooth (although there is a short initial ramp up) - Plan to do some bossing once I have my gear set up - My impression is that it should be quite viable at that too.
Please let me know if there is any interest in how to get this build online/PoB's etc. :)
EDIT: Added some details
EDIT 2:
Given the massive requests for a PoB, I'll drop one early that captures the core concept:
Stacks has been fixed to 150, which is quite standard on bosses - This gives ~5 mil dps.
For those willing to pursue the build before I make the fully detailed guide there are some important things to note:
- Enduring Cry is alpha omega. You need enough CDR / SED (skill effect duration) to have 100% up time. With 50% warcry buff effect (from shield + tree nodes), it gives +3% physical damage reduction per endurance charge. Along with the Unrelenting ascendancy node, each charge then gives 8% physical damage reduction. With our 10 charges, that is 80% reduction. We reach the cap of 90% with the two pantheons, Soul of Solaris and Soul of Gruthkul
- Attacking outside of Immortal Call can be dangerous above 100 stacks. You want a lot of CDR / SED to have almost permanent uptime, and then take note to mostly attack while it is up
- SED is the best damage scaling you can get. Having 25% more stacks roughly gives 100% more dmg, and so Increased Duration is by far the best damage link we can get.
