I started experimenting more seriously with Poison Bama last league during the SRS hype. While my first takes were fairly successful, I felt it wasn't "worth" it over regular versions like the Ele Bamas.

The Covenant was very hard to build around. The build was very spread out on the tree and I tried to innovate way too much. I also went with a flat chaos elder dot multi bow instead of a physical bow and I was under the impression that I would need Blasphemy to make Profane Bloom feel good. And because I wasn't using a physical bow I felt Necros Unholy Might wasn't benefitting me, so I went with Occultist.

I scrapped most of my old ideas in Crucible. The Impale Bama I played this league open my eyes to running 5-link clone setups and Anomalous Faster Projectiles.

I also really wanted to find a place for Unnatural Strength, so I decided to try a physical bow on a Necro and see how far I can push it. Turns out, quite far actually.

The build has normal defenses with Grace/Determ/Defiance + capped Spell Supp and Chaos Res. Considering the damage, this is more than enough defense for Softcore.
