Got very lucky with my first locus of corruption this league and got the shield, so I decided to revisit this build. Turns out it's still pretty good.
Compared to 3.14, overall the damage is at least 30% less due to the huge nerf to EE/EO, HoP max life and emberwake (especially this), but we got the sweet new flame surge which pretty much offsets the nerf. The game changer is on the defensive side, the spell block clusters in templar area and tempest shield are OP, capped spell block as an elementalist with literally 0 block related items was something I never imagined before. And we can easily fit determination and defiance banner in due to the new reservation change. In a nutshell, this build can be very tanky now. Recovery is still an issue tho, I am trying to find a better solution.
