SUMMARY:
This is a budget leaguestart progression for Poison Concoction. The endgame gearing is pretty tame and this build can be played in SSF.

LEVELING FILTER

ASCENDANCY ORDER:
Passive Points -> Blunderbore (we respec in the future for Cloak of Flames) -> Obliteration -> Death Rush (can respec into Fury Valve for difficulty boss fights ie your first Maven)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Always use the highest level life flasks you can equip!!
Make use of Gambling in town for for gear upgrades!! The loot he gives can be very powerful!! Gamble for evasion based gear.
--------------------------------ACT 1- SPECTRAL THROW START----------------------------------------
Create character on Scion.
pick up spectral throw on the beach
kill Hillock, enter town
buy iron ring (3 wisdom scroll cost again)
buy a 2H weapon from Talkleigh, look for a high phys hit (axe or maul or sword)
Frostblink
Decoy Totem use to tank Hillock for you in boss fight)
Spectral Throw - Volley Support - Chance to Bleed - Chance to Poison (order of importance, obviously you will only have a 2 or 3 link)
Snipers Mark (drop this after the Pconc swap)
Level 12 + Enter Merveil's Cavern unlocks pconc gem
teleport to town, and buy Poisonous Concoction for 1 transmute
--------------------------------ACT 1- PCONC SWAP---------------------------------------------------------
Pconc - Volley - Void Manip - Unbound Ailments (order of importance)
Shield Charge - Faster Attacks - Momentum (BUY SHIELD CHARGE ASAP AFTER MUD FLATS BECAUSE THE STR REQ GOES UP IF U POSTPONE THIS. we will not use it until level 12)
Withering Step (debuff hard bosses by walking on top of them, to increase dmg)
Precision (provides accuracy for pconc. do not need to constantly level this up as it adds reservation cost. occasionally check your accuracy in the stats page, and level as needed)
After you kill fairgraves and hit Level 12, Swap to PCONC
--------------------------------------ACT 2-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Herald of Agony
Arctic Armor (this is a good defensive aura if you can fit it in. when we get mana leech on the tree, clarity becomes useless and we can drop it)
Blood Rage (optional skill that increases damage and gives leech)
--------------------------------------ACT 3-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Despair (self cast on bosses)
Malevolence (useful aura in the endgame, not needed now)
Grace / Haste (defensive / offensive aura decision. pick one) use this after grabbing the Charisma passive. can drop arctic armor if you need to)
Plague Bearer (extra damage, works great with Increased Area of Effect if you have the gem slot for it)
--------------------------------------ACT 4-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pconc - Greater Volley - Void Manip - Unbound Ailments
After Act 4 you can just blast your way thru the rest of the campaign, and not worry about anymore gem swaps!
---------------------------POISON CONCOCTION OF BOUNCING SWAP---------------------------------
Projectile scaling priorities -> This setup is all about stacking as many projectiles as possible, then converting that into damage through chaining.
Your first priorities are:
- More projectiles overall
- Projectile Mastery that grants increased damage per chain
- Medium cluster option that works similarly to projectile mastery (You can chaos spam craft it to hit the notable Follow-Through, which adds a big chunk of damage for this projectile-heavy version.)
- all the projectiles you can get via supports (use BOTH Greater Volley and GMP
- Having all these projectiles will put strain on your life flasks, which is why the tree has support for regaining life flask charges.
(All these changes are already noted in the Skill and Tree tabs for the Pconc Swap, which I did after campaign but if you want you can do it beforehand.
PANTHEON:
MAJOR: Brine King for Freeze immunity
MINOR: Gruthkul for phys mitigation, altho this choice is flexible depending on your weakness.
ENDGAME GEARING
The build suggests a few common uniques. Some substitutions:
Gloves: The Embalmer is a very common unique that can substitute for a 5L / 6L early on in endgame progression. Even when you eventually do get a 6L, the glove still provides poison duration, which is a good damage stat, so you can keep wearing it until you need to swap to rare gloves to fix your other stats.
The Embalmer (Foulborn) On Killing a Poisoned Enemy, nearby Enemies are Poisoned is very powerful and this should be a chase goal. Pconc of Bouncing Scav was already cracked last phrecia league and now we get poison proliferation for our Pconc dmg as well as our massive chaos explosions from the ascendancy.
Poisons you inflict deal Damage (15-20)% faster is also a good mod on the foulborn gloves, and it removes something useless
Body Armor: Cloak of Flames allows us to hit 90% phys taken as fire, and will be our final body armor. 90% phys as fire is late game min-maxing so you don't have to get this early on
Doppelganger Guise, or Rare Evasion armor with Phys taken as eldrith implicit are great early endgame options before we go 100% conversion
Amulet: Fury Valve, or Rare Amulet with Damage over time Multiplier and Life
Rings: Betrayal's Sting with noxious catalysts these rings provide 48% more damage each. You could possibly fit 2 of these on the build, and you will double your damage if you decide to do this. Keep in mind each ring has minimum -20 all ele res penalty so it will not be an easy task equipping two of them. Even one ring is so much more damage.
Shield: Lepers Alm's is alot of damage and worth using early on if its cheap. It's usually pretty expensive day 1, but drops down to 1-4 chaos orbs by day 2.
Dawnbreaker is a common Searing Exarch drop. This is generally cheap, and will be our final shield as it helps convert 100% phys into dire. Prioritize the phys taken as fire roll above all else.
Rare Shaper Shield with life gain on block can be another option here. Pristine Fossils would be a good way to craft this.
Flasks: Ruby flask is a good option after we start to convert phys into fire
Rest of Gear: The rest of the gear should just fix your stats. T1 Life roll on every rare, Ele Res, Chaos Res, Strength, a Suppression Roll. Prioritize evasion bases as we are scaling this stat, and the 15% suppress mastery requires evasion helm, boot, glove.
To acquire powerful SSF gear, I suggest sending Crimson Ore and Bars to Te Onui with your Kingsmarch ships, which will return well-rolled evasion gear. I was also using Faustus to gamble for my evasion gear, which has a good chance of being well-rolled.
ENDGAME GEMS
Swap Blood Rage to Culling Strike support for the important endgame boss fights. You can shield charge to cull them quickly, and blood rage is a mapping skill only.
Awakened Unbound Ailments, Awakened Void Manipulation, Awakened Vicious Projectiles
CONCLUSION:
I will be streaming this start live on twitch. I will be posting build updates that take this past this budget starter guide on Youtube.

MISC FAQ:
map regex?
i do not like cannot leech and monsters avoid poison. the regex to avoid these is:
"!eec|on,"
charges are not configured in pob?
We get endurance charge on kill via anoint, and frenzy on kill if you remember to press Blood Rage at the start of the map. I am not including these in the POB because it's not going to affect boss damage,
but we are primarily going to be mapping so yes you will usually have charges
do we need tattoos?
You will ideally have 1 avoid stun tattoo to push us from 96 to 100% stun avoidance. Stun immunity is very important when doing endgame bossing, where a shaper ball stunning you could mean the difference between getting hit once and walking it off, or dying.
You may also need 1 poison chance tattoo if you do not opt to get it on the glove eldritch implicit
BONUS: CHASE ITEMS
I am simply going to make a list of very powerful and possibly very expensive upgrades that you can slot into this build. You will not find these in the item trees for this pob, because they are beyong the scope of a leauguestart and not easily accessible.
You will likely see them in build update videos, depending on their price
Microdistillery Belt: (offensive and defensive) put life flask in 5th flask slot and harvest craft +100 flask charges. flask still gives us damage so you can keep 5 flasks and completely negate the downsides of microdistillery belt while gaining the upsides. Incredible QoL tech.
Balance of Terror: Inflict withered for 2 seconds on hit (offensive)
Progenesis (defensive)
Defiance of Destiny (defensive)
Light of Meaning chaos damage (offensive)
Watchers Eyes dot multi malevolence (offensive)
Brutal Restaint (offensive) very powerful modes, for example Onslaught on Kill, Inc Flask Charge Gained, Alchemists Genius
Lethal Pride - Rakiata / Watchers Eye Combo (very defensive) converts alot of ele dmg to fire, which mitigates penetration damage
Impossible Escape chaos inoculation (offensive) Extra curse, and a lot of big dps nodes.
Anathema (offensive) Budget alternative to Impossible escape for extra curses
Ancestral Vision (defensive) ailment immunity
