So it sort of works? I threw Blunderbore/Gull onto the build because I wanted to do shrine stuff to start with, and ended up settling on Voltaxic Burst because I like exploring off-meta stuff after my leaguestarter. Between Blunderbore and Voltaxic Rift, the stat requirements would've been heavy with a lot of affixes having to be devoted to them, but I sidestep it entirely with Supreme Ostentation from Elegant Hubris. My Elegant Hubris' position also has the potential to hit 3 notables for some combination of 80% spell crit/spell damage or 15% cast speed or 10% life.
Grace/determ/defiance banner can be fit into the build along with either Zealotry/Wrath but the uniques starve out capping spell suppression. I could map with 50-60% suppress with a defensive watcher's eye but I settled on movespeed (non-ranger/glad bows move so slow) and map with 40-50% suppress. With that and 6k+ life I can sort of take a hit but it's by no means immortal, just enough to make mapping more comfortable.
Replica Maloney's Mechanism is an interesting item that can be used here, because it automates frenzy charge generation and additional wither stacks in my setup. Anomalous frenzy with quality from Ashes of the Stars ups it to 2 extra projectiles, so frenzy charges are basically always up. Power charges are stacked besides that to reap those benefits and the dps gets to a workable level (6-7m dps if stuff lines up). Playing this build was very iterative, as I was bouncing between going into shadow start and taking the spell wheel to buff intensity support, but intensity ramp was too slow for me when I have to be next to the mobs sometimes on account of the nature of Volatic Burst. Eventually I settled into just getting a cluster jewel and filling out the scion life wheel.
Cool build that I just kept throwing currency at until it worked. I see a lot of options to upgrade with Forbidden Flesh/Flame and a despair ring to let me work in onslaught on orb of storms, but that'll be considerations for later.
