[3.25] Tanky Int/Power Charge Stacking Power Siphon/Locus Mine Trickster - My take on the endgame of Jungroan's league starter. Juiced T17, uber boss, Simulacrum, whatever you want.

This league I league started with Jungroan's Power Siphon Trickster, with the intention of taking it as far as possible with it being my only build of the league. After toying with a few options, I've settled on what I believe to be the overall strongest and would like to share it here. My goals for this build were to be tanky enough to ignore almost all incoming damage, while also dealing respectable DPS and having the good clear speed of a wander.

The current budget of this build is approximately 1 mirror total (Mageblood + ~250d of other gear), and it can do all content in the game extremely easily (well except for deep delve). All ubers deathless and mostly facetanked, quickly farm t16 max delirium or t17 max juice, etc. In addition, there is TONS of room for upgrades still. The current best mirror wand in the league is +30% DPS alone compared to my wand, and there's better options available for almost all equip slots compared to what I have. The most reasonable upgrade I could get next would be a +1 curse corrupted Marylene's Fallacy, allowing for both Enfeeble and Sniper's Mark. I haven't been too worried about it though because I CWDT Enfeeble any trash that's hitting me, and just manually cast Sniper's Mark on bosses where I actually need the damage and am unlikely to be hit as much anyway.

Pros of the build

  • Very tanky. 1 million eHP in PoB with 20k phys/70k+ ele max hits (steelskin OFF). Can survive anything t17s can throw at you, other than Stygian corpse detonations (seriously those things are busted... +proj +ghosted +crit +damage boss is no problem but a detonate will oneshot me)
  • Fast clearspeed. 94% move speed and screenwide clear due to Power Siphon's auto-targeting. Each click throws 3 mines, which autotarget the 5 nearest enemies each and then have pierce. It's possible to clear entire maps without ever seeing an enemy on the screen, if you want to.
  • Hold right click to clear final wave Simulacrum without moving character or mouse.
  • Can do all map mods. Dangerous mods are less recovery, less aura effect, and no regen, but the first two can be mitigated by playing safer and offscreening mobs, and the third can be mitigated by bringing an enduring mana flask.
  • Able to do most valdo maps (take off Quicksilver flask, put on Ruby, and you can survive an Atziri flameblast)
  • Facetank most boss abilities (all Uber Shaper balls, Uber Exarch balls, etc)
  • Can be played from zero budget/league start all the way to endgame. If on low budget follow Jung's guide and don't try to int stack.

Cons of the build

  • Damage is mid, around 15 million DPS with Sniper's Mark on the target. This is still plenty enough to do all uber bosses, but you might need to do a mechanic or two.
  • Can die to large phys slams. Lives vs normal Shaper slam, dies to Uber Shaper slam. Just don't be dumb there.
  • Dies to Stygian corpse explosions (what doesn't)
  • Weak versus DOTs, as most mitigation layers only work with hits. Enough ES pool to buffer, but you can't tank Shaper beams for example even though you can facetank the entire uber shaper bullet hell phase.

A quick breakdown of the defensive layers of the build:

  • 11k ES
  • 77k Evasion
  • 75/84/85 ele res (84/84/85 if needed for Valdo maps/pinnacle content, just drop Quicksilver for Ruby)
  • 100% Suppression, 63% effect at full ES or 53% when damaged
  • 1k ES regen/s, 4k recharge/s which is almost always on due to Spellbreaker and Wicked Ward
  • Chaos immune via CI
  • Elemental Ailment immune via Stormshroud and a flask suffix
  • CB immune via a jewel
  • Reduced action speed from Delirium/Elder/T17 map mod immunity via One Step Ahead
  • CWDT Enfeeble to help out even more against incoming damage.

If you'd rather give up some tankiness in exchange for damage and clear speed, there's a couple easy things to do:

  1. Use Wrath instead of Grace
  2. CWDT Punishment instead of Enfeeble
  3. Give up Evasion or Life Regen flask suffix, take movement speed.
  4. Spec Lightning Mastery and/or Staff Mastery on the tree, giving up the Megalomaniac and/or the ES wheel (staff mastery is cute - 60% multi if you haven't hit recently which doesn't count mines. And the small nodes are generic attack ele pen, don't have to be using a staff)
  5. Swap mine mastery to enemies take 10% increased damage instead of deal 10% less

Future upgrades:

  1. Extra curse amulet corruption, allows both Enfeeble and Sniper's Mark
  2. Enlighten level 4, allows for dropping the one small reservation node
  3. Synth wand instead of the double influenced
  4. Perfect simplex amulet is actually a slight DPS loss compared to Marylene's Fallacy, but allows for dropping Precision and potentially picking up a Herald for more damage coupled with Enlighten 4.
  5. Better jewels all around
