==================== = = = VIDEO GUIDE = = = ==================== The detailed video guide can be found here: https://youtu.be/kuMBDDwWS2w ==================== = = = HOW TO USE = = = ==================== - Navigate to "Tree" tab then choose a passive tree in the bottom-left dropdown menu (next to "About"), according to your progress. - Adjust your current character level at the top - Put on and edit example gear or import your own stuff with the Import/Export Build feature. - Adjust gem levels and quality, and enable optional gems if used. - Configure anything relevant in the Configuration tab. ==================== = = = IMPORTANT = = = ==================== - If you have an Abyss jewel with "chance to blind on hit", then check "Is the enemy blinded?" box in Configuration tab you can. - Activate Flasks to see their impact on DPS or defense. - Gems that don't need quality or need to stay at a certain level are shown like that, all others are defaulted at 20/20. ==================== = = = GEMS = = = ==================== NOTE: the acquisition of the gems from vendors is based on the class of the build. If you have alts or chars that have already completed Act 6, then you can use them to buy the missing gems. For example: Leap Slam can be acquired by a Marauder after finishing the quest "The Caged Brute" (Act 1), but the same is not available for a Witch. NOTE #2: if a quest has as reward 2 or more gems that you need, take one and then you can buy the other from one the NPCs in town (each act has a specific NPC selling gems). Blood and Sand - Level 4 - Breaking some Eggs (Act 1) Infused Channelling - Level 4 - purchased from Siosa after completing the "Four Golden Pages" quest in the Library (Act 3) Maim - Level 8 - The Caged Brute (Act 1) Leap Slam - Level 10 - The Caged Brute (Act 1) Blood Rage - Level 16 - The Root of the Problem (Act 2) Flesh and Stone - Level 16 - The Root of the Problem (Act 2) Melee Physical Damage - Level 18 - Sharp and Cruel (Act 2) Endurance Charge on Melee Stun Support - Level 18 - Sharp and Cruel (Act 2) Faster Attacks - Level 18 - Sharp and Cruel (Act 2) Pride - Level 24 - Lost in Love (Act 3) Dread Banner - Level 24 - Lost in Love (Act 3) Enfeeble - Level 24 - purchased from Siosa after completing the "Four Golden Pages" quest in the Library (Act 3) Assassin's Mark - Level 24 - purchased from Siosa after completing the "Four Golden Pages" quest in the Library (Act 3) Cyclone - Level 28 - Sever The Right Hand (Act 3) Ancestral Warchief - Level 28 - Sever The Right Hand (Act 3) Fortify - Level 31 - A Fixture of Fate (Act 3) Impale - Level 31 - A Fixture of Fate (Act 3) Pulverise - Level 31 - A Fixture of Fate (Act 3) Increased Duration - Level 31 - A Fixture of Fate (Act 3) Immortal Call - Level 34 - Breaking the Seal (Act 4) Brutality - Level 38 - purchased from Petarus and Vanja in Highgate, after completing "The Eternal Nightmare" quest in Act 4 Cast When Damage Taken (CWDT) - Level 38 - purchased from Petarus and Vanja in Highgate, after completing "The Eternal Nightmare" quest in Act 4 Vaal Ancestral Warchief - Level 28 - drop/trade/corrupting a "Ancestral Warchief" gem with a Vaal Orb (results may vary) Enlighten - Levl 1 - drop/trade only. A level 4 Enlighten can be obtained by corrupting a level 3 Empower gem - BUT results are not guaranteed and you can even ruin the gem. You've been warned. ==================== = = = GEAR = = = ==================== ** Gear is split into three tiers: basic, mid-tier and best-in-slot. As a general rule of thumb prices increase significantly with each tier, but so do the benefits that the items bring. ** Detailed gear advice along with POE Trade search links: ======= WEAPONS ======= Basic Sword: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/wj4E9jUb Mid-Tier sword: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/mDkv3RC6 Best-in-slot 1h sword: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/ODg3DzSE >> A basic sword should have over 260 physical DPS, along with some Critical Strike Multiplier. Some good uniques around this tier are Ahn's Might or Ichimonji. >> As mid-tier, look for 300+ physical DPS, crit multi and either some accuracy or chance to impale. You should look to get these on swords with a weapon range of 14 as this becomes quite an important stat. >> Best-in-slot swords are Jeweled Foils with multi-crafted mods, some accuracy, above 40% total quality, everything amounting to over 450 physical DPS. ======= BODY ARMOUR ======= Basic body armour: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/ero29wsL Mid-Tier body armour (Belly of the Beast): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/DYZj0Vs5 Mid-Tier body armour (Carcass Jack): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/JgvOarSl Mid-Tier body armour (Daresso's Defiance): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/WOgmnRCm Best-in-slot body armour: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/LyaoVjsn >> A basic body armour needs at least 5 links, 80+ life and 90+ resistances. Ideally it should have an armour/evasion base to make it easier to obtain the sockets' colors needed for Cyclone. >> For mid-tier you should already aim for 6 links and the best candidates are a few unique armours: Belly of the Beast, Carcass Jack or Daresso's Defiance >> Best-in-slot armour is a rare one with "Socketed gems are supported by level 1 Maim" which adds somewhat of a 7th link to your Cyclone setup. ======= HELMET ======= Basic helmet: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/pRJ0Geu0 Mid-Tier helmet (Starkonja): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/vZrzTE Mid-Tier helmet (Devoto's Devotion): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/xm2zu6 Best-in-slot helmet: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/0w243dtg >> A basic helmet needs 80+ life, 80+ elemental resistances and ideally some Intelligence >> For mid-tier there are two uniques that work very well: "Starkonja's Head" and "Devoto's Devotion" >> Best-in-slot helmets need to have a few key affixes: nearby enemies take increased physical damage, +1 to melee weapon range, % increased maximum life as well as flat life. ======= GLOVES ======= Basic gloves: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/lkoGvwSV Mid-tier gloves: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/Grlb99Ub Best-in-slot gloves: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/ODLGLltE >> Basic gloves should have 70+ life and elemental resistances along with added physical damage to attacks. >> On top of these, a pair of mid-tier gloves have either some attack speed, over 300 accuracy or a ?Spiked Gloves? base with the excellent melee damage implicit. >> Best-in-slot are somewhat similar to mid-tier ones, however with less resistances to make room for a weapon range affix, along with higher numeric values for physical damage and attack speed. ======= BOOTS ======= Basic boots: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/7bjd33H5 Mid-tier boots: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/YjbpdriY Best-in-slot boots: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/oWwwnGSl >> Basic ones need to have at least 20% movement speed and 80+ life and resistances. >> Mid-tier ones should have pretty much the same affixes but with 30% movement speed and ideally some Intelligence to help you level up "Infused Channeling" gem. >> For best-in-slot boots, all the above + chance to dodge spells or attacks. ======= BELT ======= Basic belt: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/nXMaP9T0 Mid-tier belt: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/Be7mqWs8 Best-in-slot belt (Soul Tether): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/YjazZgIY >> A basic one should come with about 90+ life and elemental resistances as well as some form of physical damage. >> A mid-tier one has pretty much similar affixes but on a Stygian Vise base, thus with the added benefit of an abyssal socket >> For the best-in-slot, go for a corrupted "Soul Tether" with "Pride has increased aura effect" or "increased attack speed during any flask effect" implicit. ======= AMULET ======= Basic amulet (Daresso's Salute): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/opVgil Mid-tier amulet: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/pRj28wf0 Best-in-slot: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/vGPqBZhE >> Basic amulet: Daresso's Salute. It provides a decent amount of resistances, +2 weapon range as well as increased damage and movement speed while on full life. >> On mid-tier amulets look for added physical damage, critical strike chance and multiplier, a good amount of life and ideally some Intelligence. >> For best-in-slot you're looking at pretty much the same affixes, with +1 to weapon range on top of all the rest. ======= RINGS ======= Basic ring: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/0waqrYHg Mid-tier ring: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/oW7lzwFl Best-in-slot ring: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/9bDYmmtK NOTE: top priority on any ring is "- total mana cost of skills". Look for this before anything else. >> Basic rings should have this important affix along with a mix of life, resistances, physical damage to attacks or Intelligence >> Mid-tier rings are basically more of the same with increased numeric values for all these affixes. >> For the best-in-slot, go for a Shaper one having "Curse enemies with Assassin's Mark on hit" on top of the other affixes ======= JEWELS ======= Basic jewel: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/5b3YPKCa Basic jewel (Tempered Flesh): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/JERLzWFl Mid-tier jewel (Transcendent Flesh): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/pY2MWJC0 Best-in-slot jewel (Watcher's Eye): https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Legion/7bOdm2S5 >> Basic jewels should have some flat or % increased life and at least 2 other damage affixes. These can be either attack speed, critical strike chance, critical strike multiplier, flat damage and so on. >> Another good basic option is "Tempered Flesh" unique jewel socketed on the left side of the tree, above Juggernaut passive. >> Mid-tier jewel "Transcendent Flesh". Replace the weaker version of the jewel with this one when you can afford it. >> Best-in-Slot: Watcher's Eye with various damage mods when affected by Pride aura. Ideally, if you're using Precision as well, then you can get a mix of mods for these two auras. ======= CLUSTER JEWELS =========== Large: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Delirium/B96QoRac8 Medium: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Delirium/9aXDYbzhK Small: https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Delirium/VRQgk78fp ======= FLASKS ======= You need to ensure you cover Curse immunity (Warding suffix), Freeze Immunity (Heat suffix) as well as Bleed removal (Staunching suffix) on the flasks. Optimal setup: > Seething + Divine Life Flask + of Staunching > Lion's Roar > Chemist's + Silver Flask + of Heat > Experimenter + Diamond Flask + of Warding > Chemist's + Quicksilver Flask + of Adrenaline
