Been playing the new Path of Exile Keepers of the Flame using Kinetic Fusillade from the very start and it's been amazing! Originally was going a different approach but now we just hold the button down and hose out a bunch of projectiles. Elementalist Heralds and Golems are carrying both defense and offense as well as the new Lost Unity ring giving us more power from those Heralds. There does happen to be a lot of math but thankfully spreadsheets let you skip all that.
