This can 100% be melted into your gear but choosing correctly which stats you need to go for. Rather than spending a point, I think its worth working it into the gear as alot of the gear I have in the POB can lose some of the resist in place for some dex. Try and start moving towards 4links as soon as possible while keeping resists as high as possible, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR ACT 6!!.
