As I said before, I had some issues with the current popular Poison SRS Necro variants. Without shitting on any build specifically, lets just say I was looking for something that performed a bit "better". This is highly subjective, but I have a very clear version how my build needs to feel.

I didn't actually plan to play poison SRS. This build started out initially as a poison Bama experiment, which worked ok, but after a few PoB sessions I felt my concept would also suit a Poison SRS very well.

My goal with this version was to improve the clear, defense against Ubers and to dodge some of the currently popular items (Aul, Ashes) while dipping my toes into some curse stuff due to the recent changes.

I landed on Occultist for curse things and Profane Bloom for clear. Necro is incredibly mid these days for anything summoner and block is an overrated defensive layer.

For my amulet I chose a double curse Impresence, removing the aura reservation of both Despair and Enfeeble. I already used this kind of amulet for an Arakaali build and had some good experience with it. Currently, as I am typing this, the cheapest amulet is listed at 5 divs which is basically free for an item this useful.

The third curse shouldn't suprise anyone, its Temporal Chains. But unlike the Necro versions we are selfcasting it instead of having AG apply it via Asenath. That gives us the oppertunity to scale our Temp Chains and turn it into a big F-you skill against bosses. A boosted Temp Chains means that we don't need Unbound Ailments as a Support, which is basically a dead link during clear anyway. This build also picks up damage very efficiently and we can match the dps of most of the other high end Necro variants despite not running Malevolence (or Kingmaker).

While recording I was a bit sad I couldn't make use of Blasphemy Enfeeble against stuff that I actually wanted to tank, like Sirus Meteor. Thats when I remembered some twitch stream background noice of HC gauntlet folk talking about how Enfeeble on Sirus "helps" and I was like... how? Then it clicked, and I was like "you stupid fkin moron idiot sandwich". Self cast! Obviously! Duh.

I recorded most of my fights using Blasphemy, so I didn't want to redo everything, but I did go back to Eater/Exarch and did some damage taken tests for you with a self cast Enfeeble setup. So what does that actually mean? Let me explain. You still want the Enfeeble Blasphemy Aura during clear. But against Ubers you can actually take Enfeeble off of Blasphemy and simply selfcast it. This is easily done by swapping Enfeeble and your Flame Dash/ Frostblink. This has multiple benefits, like increased effect on Enfeeble aswell as no range concerns and it persists during most boss moves like Exarch suns and Sirus Maze if applied before. With the boosted Temp Chains a 21/20 Enfeeble lasts ~90 seconds.

For more defense I am are running the classic Determination, Grace, Defiance Banner and Spell Supp combo. Grace is especially great with Enfeeble, as the curse also reduces accuracy. Coupled with blind from the minions and a Grace Watchers Eye I can achieve ~92% Evasion. As a final touch I added Divine Flesh to help against Uber elemental penetration.

This build can tank for example Sirus Maze with and without Enfeeble, Uber Sirus beam, Uber Eater Hunger and can facetank Uber Maven's Cascade. All with proper Molten Shells obviously. It can survive a boosted Exarch ball without any cooldowns and has enough defense to blast through Sim 30s and 100% Delirium content.

Lastly, a few words about AG. This build uses my AG Hungry Loop setup that I have been running on multiple builds now. AG needs 40% all res on the rare boots to cap res! For gloves I am using Ceaseless Feast for Corruption stacks, which means I don't need accuracy for my minions. 3 stacks are enough to strip enough evasion for SRS to hit 100% chance to hit on all bosses. Dying Breath, Doppelgaenger and Crown of the Tyrant for the remaining slots.
