I haven't included his guide in this because I don't have the time to keep it updated Remember to save gold for your Thorns transition! To transition to thorns you need to buy Crown of the Pale King, Briarpatch and THREE Uncut Support Gems lvl 3 or above. All of these can currently be acquired from the trade site for a total of 5ex Lvl 5 Uncut Support gems are currently the cheapest, and there's no level limitation, so I'm assuming you have access to those for the sake of the guide I'd also recommend the best phys thorns belt and shield you can equip, and either a good phys thorns body armour or Icetomb. This should cost you an additional 3ex, more at higher levels When buying through the trade site you have to use Bulk Item Exchange to buy the uncut support gems. If you want to use the in game trade you can only transition in Act 4 The earliest you can transition to Thorns is level 16 - however I'd only recommend this for experienced Thorns players I have the most fun transitioning around level 30, as the Jamanra boss fight is the first fight where Thorns truly excels For new and inexperienced thorns players I recommend transitioning somewhere between level 49 and your third ascendancy, depending on your confidence You'll want to upgrade all of your phys thorns gear throughout progression Here is all of the level brackets where you should be looking to upgrade your Thorns gear: - Level 30 - 24-53 Physical Thorns Damage - Level 38 - 40-92 Physical Thorns Damage - Level 50 - 64-145 Physical Thorns Damage - Level 59 - 101-220 Physical Thorns Damage Choice rewards: - Valley of the Titans - Uncertain, go with your gut - Can be changed - Venom Crypts - 25% increased Stun Threshold - Can't be changed, makes a big difference - Halls of the dead - Int/Str/Lightning Res - Can't be changed but not important - Godess of Justice - 30% Increased Mana ecovery from flasks - Can be changed - The Seven Pillars - 3% increased Movement Speed - Can be changed - Take attributes or resistances if needed The only truly important roll on Heart of the Well is the Thorns Crit Chance - Get one with a 4% roll as soon as you can afford it, good other rolls are a luxury and there's a lot of good options Corruptions to look for: Crown of the Pale King: Second Socket Briarpatch: Krangle Divine Crit Chance (goes up to 30.5%) Icetomb: Krangle Divine % of Mana as Thorns (goes up to 22%) DO NOT LEVEL RAPID ASSAULT.
