I first started this build in metamorph league and it was not so great. With 3.12, there were significant buffs to projectile self cast spell builds that made me want to try this build again. In metamorph I had ~10m dps, Heist I have ~24m(max theoretical with same settings). I started with Expeditions End as a chestpiece to freeze everything (map bosses), but eventually I achieved enough damage things were dying so fast it didn't matter. In a perfect PoB theoretical world, it reaches 24m dps, but it's probably a bit lower than that on average, but it's fast enough to kill conquerors before they do anything. 4 endurance charges + Red Nightmare + immortal call are extremely helpful for survivability, and divergent berserk less damage taken is great for conquerors like Baran who can clap you quickly. Overall one of my favorite builds I've played, and I'm surprised it worked as well as it did.

New things in 3.12:
Replica Maloneys Mechanism casts a bow skill when you cast a spell, divergent ensaring arrow + lvl 4 enhance grants 22% spell damage taken, and also frenzy (dmg + cast speed), automatically while attacking
Pinpoint allows us to drop GMP, and with 4 intensities, adds 120% more damage (massive boost vs GMP)
Intensify also scales off 4 intensities, and boosts AoE by 57% at 0 intensity, and boosts 96% more damage at 4 intensities (fireball explosion AoE has a huge effect on clear)
Divergent berserk + lvl 4 enhance is 44% more spell dmg, combined with Chainbreaker to passively generate rage(Lethal Pride Akoya), lasts enough for conquerors/metamorphs to die
Replica Voidwalkers allow us to drop Snakepit (+1 chain) and compensate with a better ring
Some notes:
-I'm still working on getting gloves that have Phys to Fire for explody chest, but I don't think it's really holding the build back much
If you're wondering why I didn't record the first Al Heizmin conq, I forgot to activate focus + vaal haste so it made the damage a lot worse, he died shortly after the first phase
I forgot to have lightning golem up on Veritania so theoretically could have been a few milliseconds faster
Focus is underrated as a mechanic, it's essentially a vaal skill that activates 36% inc cast speed, 15% shock, 140% duration of ailments (scorch), recover 30% of ES (helpful for Vaal righteous fire), and 30% chance for double damage
-Not to mislead anyone, there a few times I kill a metamorph next a wall; fireball shotguns its AoE explosions when it's next to wall which GREATLY increases its damage, I try to do this whenever it's available
I hated Heist league mechanic so I have no idea how it performs in heist content
Could scale damage to ~28m with awakened spell echo + bow with % chance for double damage implicit, but it's well outside my budget
I rolled nemesis 3 sextant during recording twice but totally spaced and didn't optimize for it, what are the odds
I paid 30ex for my watchers eye!
How much did this build cost:
This is not a budget build, deadeye ascendancy really relies on massive damage as its defense
Current investment is probably around 100-150 ex
For budget ideas you could use Expeditions End and also Painseeker gloves w/ spell crit implicit, which should reliably freeze map bosses until you can upgrade gear more
