Hi guys, I had taken a short break from PoE due to some irl stuff, but my hype meter for PoE 2 is only going up ever since the livestream! :D

It motivated me enough to come back and finish 2 of the build guides that I was working on before going on the break.

  1. The Tincture is only for tough enemies. We don't constantly spam it. It has roughly 4 seconds duration before it get deactivated and goes into cooldown. But the Ignite we create when the tincture is activate do not drop in DPS once the tincture is deactivated.

  2. The Energy Blade gem replaces whatever we have in our main hand (Any enchant on the weapon will also get replaced). So we don't need any specific weapon there. But that doesn't mean we can be unarmed. Any normal 1-handed weapon is enough and needs to be equipped.

  3. We are using a Megalomaniac jewel to get enough Mana Reservation Efficiency for Discipline and Malevolence. Without a Megalomaniac, we have to get 2 small cluster jewels with enough Mana Reservation Efficiency.

  4. We have Crit Damage Immunity from the Sanctum of Thought Notable, Armour and Energy Shield Mastery, Curse Mastery, and 1x Rongokurai Turtle tattoos.

  5. Ignite Proliferation from the Berek's Respite ring is unmatched. It gives us an insane level of clearspeed while mapping (old pre-nerf ED-Contagion level clearspeed).

  6. The Svalinn shield is once again a huge comfort item. It's Chance to Block is Lucky mod is what gives us the effective 90% Block Chance. It also automates normal Molten Shell (the Vaal version we have to use manually).

  7. The Brush With Death cluster jewel notable gives us very high Energy Shield recovery/sustain during mapping. It is mandatory.

  8. Since we are CI, we need to get Stun Immunity from somewhere. We do this through the Brine King Pantheon.

  9. We don't use the regular Smite skill since we don't have enough accuracy. We use Vaal Smite instead, because it has Hits Can't be Evaded built-in. It is used for the Lightning Aura and for applying Elemental Weakness on hit.

  10. Item Bases are very important. Don't go for pure Energy Shield items. Go for hybrid Armour/Energy Shield bases. That will give much better protection against Physical Damage.
