TC made a fun SSF build, but I wanted to scale it into non-SSF endgame.
I've tried to address some of the problems he mentioned in his video.
One of Tarke Cat's problems was stacking so much attack speed / frenzy charge, he'd quickly run out of ES (because this build uses devourer's diadem).
In my version, I've replaced Snakebite Gloves with Asenath's, added Chalice of Horrors shield, and a lot more chaos damage. This gives us better DoT and on-hit per attack, so we don't need to spam PConc and run out of ES so fast.
- I've added chaos dmg cluster jewels, and a Megalomaniac with Unspeakable Gifts. What we're basically getting is big mob pack explosions and some curse wankery.
- You have 10% chance to explode enemies for chaos dmg from Unspeakable Gifts, and guaranteed 3% phys. dmg explosions from Asenath's. Essentially, you can set off big pack explosion chains in 1 or 2 clicks.
- You get Temporal Chains on hit, Alchemist's Mark on hit, and Decay DoT from single-casting Despair. The decay DoT is enough to kill T16 packs on its own, so its actually a good DoT "oomph" on bosses as well.
- Blood Rage + Rotgut recoup the attack speed from Tarke Cat's version. You're getting 18 second Onslaught from Rotgut, and instantly regain the Frenzy charges from Blood Rage. This gives you ~18 second uptime for 6 Frenzy charges and Onslaught.
You also have numerous options for shield hot swaps: Dawnbreaker for dmg reduction, Wheel of the Stormsail for rarity find, a crafted rare, etc. Except for bossing, your alternate shield choice doesn't really matter much at all.
If you go with Dawnbreaker, you can grab a Dying Sun flask for lots of extra dmg reduction. But IMO, Overflowing Chalice + Rotgut give the best bang for your buck.
Build summary TLDR: I threw a few divine at a SSF build to make it still not as good as Pathfinder. 1.1m total DPS inc. poison.
