Jorgen's Notes

Builds Breakdown: Key uniques while leveling build: According to the the 3.19 Patch Notes: - The Death Rush Unique Ring has been redesigned and no longer has any of its old properties. It now has Recover 5% of Life on Kill, and Gain Adrenaline for 3 seconds on kill. This is a huge damage boost early on in the game. Early Power and Frenze Charge generation: - The Lochtonial Caress Unique Gloves no longer has +20-30 to maximum Life. It now provides 10-15% chance to gain a Power, Frenzy or Endurance Charge on Kill (previously 10%). - We could also use The Ralakesh's Impatience Unique Boots no longer has Gain a Frenzy, Endurance, or Power Charge once per second while you are Stationary. Instead, it now causes Your minimum Frenzy, Endurance and Power Charges to be equal to your maximum while you are Stationary. It also now has 30% increased Movement Speed (previously 20%). Items Adjusted for per Path Notes 3.19 - (NERF) The Brittle Ailment now grants up to +6% chance to critically strike afflicted enemies (previously +15%) and now has a default value of +2% (previously +5%). - (NERF) (Removed from the build) The Reservation Mastery that granted 15% increased Mana Reservation Efficiency of Skills has been removed from the Passive Skill Tree. - (NIL IMPACT) (Need to see the impact this will have - does not say for gloves so this looks like it will be fine) Non-Aura Skills Cost no Mana or Life while Focused can no longer appear as a veiled modifier on Amulets, and the crafted version is no longer available. - (BUFF) Crackling Lance now has a base Beam Width of 12 (previously 10) and gains +3 to Beam Width per Intensity (previously +2). Where to find Nadir Mode and Apex Mode: - Nadir will drop from the The Unbreakable boss in Heist - Apex will drop from the The Unbreakable boss in Heist - We can use these gems to increase our critical striek chance early on by 20% x 4 = 80% crit as the two gems offset the negative impacts felt while gaining and losing intensity. Bascially no down size but the up sides. Early Leveling: Start with Absolution + Added Lightning Damage + Faster Casting + Onslaught from Act 1 as soon as you can get a 4 link item. Don;t starting using blazing Salvo intil you get Spell cho in Act 4. Leveling experience posted by Xelorz (thanks bro) fromt he 18/8/2022: So I've taken both of Jorgens league start crackling lance and blazing salvo to the mid 80s in standard, here are a few thoughts I?ve have on them. I emulated a league start in the campaign and early maps by ignoring all unique, only using found items and currency. I also restarted both in the campaign a few times to find the best way I can level them. Then basically buying some endgame gear once I hit the 80s to get a feel for endgame. They both feel amazing in their endgame form. They?re crazy tanky, have moderate clear and are super comfy on bosses. Dying wasn?t much of concern unless I wasn?t paying attention. However leveling them is a bit rough but reasonable. I?ve done minions to start for the last few league starts, which were blazing fast so my expectations may be a bit skewed. I grabbed each respective skill and used them as soon as you could. Both builds were fairly tank in the campaign but the damage output is a bit low, so I choose to add in a holy flame totem and other flat damage auras to try and get it a bit higher. That seems to help a fair bit early on. I opted to not run zealotry as soon as I could get it for crackling lance because early on it doesn?t seem to add very much, I just leveled it an off hand for later. They both seemed to hit a bit of a rough patch in part 2 of the campaign. On my 4 link I ran the each respective skill with Intensify, increased critical damage and inspiration. What I ended up doing was replacing intensify with Unleash support with any content that wasn?t a boss. I could collect large packs and drop all 3 seals on a large pack and kill almost all of it and keep running until I had 3 seals again and another large pack. It smoothed things out a lot. Intensify was definitely far more useful against unique and bosses however. Spell echo in general doesn?t feel entirely great until you've got enough cast speed either from the tree a bit later on in your level or from gear. Looking for some cast speed on your gear as soon as you hit maps may be a good idea. In general I was able to get both builds to maps in a little over 6 hours and change which isn?t that much slower then my previous builds, so it?s a reasonable league start.
