really nice to play a bow build that doesn't get one shot all the time...except when it does. really though, one of the more consistent and solid bow builds you can try, both in terms of damage and survivability. I've got total crap gear but am blasting through red maps. will spend more money on this later to really push it, maybe try uber elder and stuff.

couple more notes:

• impale does basically nothing for any elemental (conversion) builds, if you're gonna go impale you go physical.

• do not underestimate how important extra projectiles is on both skills. each hit is another impale proc, for TS it's crucial for clear and for barrage it's another instance of huge flat damage. 2 barrage threshold jewels, 3 if you can fit it.

• auras are dread banner since you get it for free with the ascendancy choices i've made, precision because accuracy/crit is lacking a bit without it, and your choice of herald of purity or pride, depending on what you can fit in/your playstyle. HOT tip: pride is one of the few auras where the AoE from quality IS REALLY GOOD! so don't do what i did and corrupt it before you make it +20% quality!!

• even though i CAN recommend this build as a bit of a starter, you still might want to level as melee. cyclone or sunder, something like that, maybe til you get to maps unless you stack those barrage jewels for bossing.

• i like phase run but keep in mind that it eats your frenzy charges, i have a bad habit of doing that when it really impacts your damage so use with caution.
