It shows the minimum recommended affixes at average rolls but feel free to mix and match the resists - Getting chaos resist is a good idea but can dramatically increase the cost of the item - Quality is only on gems that need it - Gem level is important; some gems do not require leveling - Try and replace any supports with Awakened variants when you can - Wither and Blight are for single-target damage on bosses, you shouldn't need them for clear ========== BUDGET VERTEX OPTION ============================================ Because Devouring Diadem can be somewhat expensive at the start of the league, the Budget Vertex Option is a good starting choice. The main loss is the extra defensive aura which is still perfectly fine for 99% of the game. ========== LEVELING NOTES ================================================== The core gems (Blight, Contagion, and Blight) are all available during leveling so just use them as you can unlock them.
