Hi!

I made my own build around Eye of Winter, a spell I really enjoy since Diablo 2 (it's similar to Frozen Orb). I don't really like mines, which is a common way to play eye of winter so i decided to try my own hand at making a build.

The build is based around Rathpith Globe which gives crit and spell damage per 100 health. The idea is to roll inquisitor, take all health nodes in the south-western part of the tree, and scale crit aswell as chain.

Eye of Winter projectiles deal more damage depending on how far they have travelled (up to 200% more damage at the end), so chain scales the damage a LOT in map clearing.

My links for map clearing is EoW - Empower - Woke cold damage - increased crit dmg - woke spell echo - chain

However, chain is not good on pure single target (obviously) so I switch it out for Slower Projectiles on single target. It allows more projectiles to hit, and also increases the dmg they deal.

On certain "single target" bosses, such as The Fearless, chain CAN provide a big chunk of damage if they are close enough.

I playing this in Crucible and killed The Fearless with it (didn't try ubers). It was also quite tanky with 8.3k health and a bunch of regeneration!

I'm sure it can be further optimized! Pob has difficulties calculating the proper dps of eye of winter so don't trust it completely.

My budget for killing fearless was under 9 divines (woke spell echo was 6 of those divs!!)
