I like occultist over elementalist because of temportal chains blasphemy and explosions. I think it is better, in a sense that it is a more well rounded build having both the tankyness and the damage. It is also more fun and more enjoyable, at least for me.
Build is suitable for blasting logbooks with ease and get that mageblood quick.
