I would like to introduce my Off-Meta League Starter that is able to get going with very little gear.

Physical DoT scales mostly through Auras and Spell Skill Gem Levels which is the only damage affixes we really look for. Each +1 Physical Spell Skill Gem adds 15% more Damage which makes it more useful for this character than a single Link! The build has 63% all Resistances from the Tree, 74% suppression chance (from passive points, ascendancy and anoint) making it very easy to gear.

In this PoB I am only using two-mod items and the character has enough damage to kill all non-ubers. If you add Cold Iron Point Daggers to the build (5 Chaos Unique typically) the DPS goes up to 3.5m DPS. This character also runs Determination and is Spell Supression capped with only 2 suppression rolls on gear.

I have played Exsanguinate in 3.14 (SSF) and in 3.18 (SSFHC) to 100. Exsanguinate with Chain has excellent clear being able to 27 enemies with one cast at a gem level 20.

However, this skill doesn't scale very well with a lot of investment as it gets most of it's power from gem levels which the character already has a lot of in both PoB's.
