The most interesting stuff from the patch notes were the phys skill crit buffs imo and Bladefall + Blade Blast was always a fun setup so wanna try making a starter with it. I feel assassin bifurcate node looks really insane and the instant leech node is honestly very strong too even on a spell build.

What i'm less sure on is what damage type to go for and how to scale defences. I think entropic devastation is going to be the way to go at some point as pure phys but is not something you can rely on to get first few days.

This is my first draft with lightning conversion and armour + block as defences https://pobb.in/ufXjz4kOZbBq. It doesn't look crazy strong but it also doesn't look terribly weak. I think you can drop some mana nodes and also switch determination for zealotry as options.

Does anyone have any plans on starting this or any experience playing this recently? I am also open to any tips regarding blade blast of unloading as that may just be the stronger version.

EDIT: I did some hit testing just to see average hits and it looks like 20 hits average per blade blast. It will obviously depend a bit on boss size and if they're moving but it's higher than I assumed. It was very noticible having 5 or 6 volleys on bladefall with much better results with 5 since blades near you dissapear with 6 volleys because of 40 blade limit.

Edit2: Realised I did not try conc effect on bladefall and with that change average hit amount goes up to 26 hits, using 70% aoe. You can miss more easily with blades this way but a lot more hits if target is stationary.
