Things To Remember / Frequently Asked Questions / Concerns
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WARNING: This build is NOT NEW PLAYER FRIENDLY, it also requires a LOT of gear to feel good. Do not try to league start this. Do not play this as a new player.
This build is mainly just a fun challenge for myself to use some of the old kit from way back in the day on the BFBB Inquisitor, I've wanted to get Vulconus functioning
again for a very long time and this is my attempt at it. That said it isn't the absolute best way to play this I don't think. You could probably do a lot higher investment on
a cold/lightning/fire version with Unwavering Crusade FF/FF scaling damage that way. The build is able to do normal pinnacle bosses fine, ubers will be a definite skill
check. Clearing big juiced maps is fine on this build as well, I was able to handle 80% delirious maps with little issue.
Resistances and dexterity are quite hard to fit into this build properly, it is spoken on a bit in the crafting notes of each piece, but expect to do some serious gear
jenga to be able to fit everything.
You need to make sure that you are not constantly walking or your Consecrated Ground effect will disable, making your Righteous Fire degen you. This is solved by
stopping to cast, or using a movement skill.
Tattoos are mandatory for fitting in everything in this PoB, mainly Aura Reservation ones. They also increase our damage / clear substantially.
Blade Blast is quite challenging in a lot of circumstances to hit literally anything with. The AoE is very small, and it will load up lingering blades directly under your
character...most of the time. If the terrain isn't level or there are obstacles, the lingering blades will be all over. That said, if you do manage to completely overlap
them underneath an enemy, you can do some serious damage.
We gain Endurance Charges from our Timeless Jewel, Power Charges from Assassin's Mark quality (or a Vulconus corrupt if you want), and Frenzy charges from our
Chestpiece.
Bleeding allows us to utilize the Increase Damage with Fire hits on our Weapon. Normally you are unable to bleed enemies while you have Avatar of Fire allocated, but
minions are able to do this instead of us. I tried out using Reaper with Guardian's Blessing and that was fine but it died pretty often and took up a lot of gem slots.
Getting Minion Bleed Chance on an Abyss Jewel and letting our Herald of Purity Minions bleed instead is a much better option.
You need to get chance to Ignite for the Fire Mastery, we get this from the Skill tree and Flammability.
If you can't get Onslaught Boots you can drop the +1 Dex gems Tattoo for the Onslaught on Hit Tattoo. Same goes for if you can't get the Arcane Surge Watcher's Eye.
ALL of our Life Leech comes from the Glove implicit, it is SUPER important. Technically if you're giga rich and can afford the resist slots, you can use Burning Temple
Gloves for some more damage.

A Note on Nimis
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You do not HAVE to use this ring, you can put Returning Projectile support in the link instead of whatever is lowest DPS and use a Circle of Anguish with some nice
implicits, another rare ring, or a Polaric Devastation. But it will be significantly less damage and it won't shoot in a circle.

Gearing
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Weapons:
Vulconus - The centerpiece of the build, quality matters here, as well as the base damage, Fire Damage on Bleeding Enemies, and Crit Chance. You can go
for a Power Charge on Crit corruption mod if you like.
Helmet:
Crafted Rare - Grab a Fractured Life Regeneration Rate Arm/ES Helmet and get a lab enchant of some kind on it (or don't, it is expensive).
Use Mana Reservation Essences until you hit a t2/t1 Resist Roll and an open Prefix. Use eldritch Currency to fix prefixes if needed.
Use Eldritch Currency to Get Life, or do Suffixes cannot be changed and Veiled Chaos for +1 Pierce.
If you Veiled then Craft Life, if you Eldritch Rolled it then craft +1 Pierce
Eldritch Implicits - Cast Speed, Increased Mana Reservation Efficiency(Important!)
Enchants - Anything that gives you damage or smoothes mana reservation is fine.
Body Armour:
Crafted Rare - If you want Elevated Spell Crit this becomes much more expensive, it isn't needed.
For Elevated version, grab Hunter Chestpieces off the trade website that have T1 Spell crit and ONE other Hunter mod. Add a Count Stat group and set it to
1 minimum, 1 maximum, and put all of the other Hunter mods in the list. Make sure you have T1 spell crit and hunter influence in the main stat list.
Use an Orb of Dominance for a 50/50 Chance at uptiering the Spell Crit into Elevated Spell Crit, if you fail, repeat until your wallet hurts.
Obtain a 6 Link Ilvl84+ Saintly Chainmail base from the trade site, make it rare, Redeemer's Exalted Orb it, and Alteration roll until you get Frenzy Charge on hit
and no other Influence Mods.
Use an Awakener's Orb on the HUNTER Chestpiece First and then use it on the REDEEMER Chestpiece (the good 6 link base) second.
If you got a bad suffix, either restart, attempt to annul, or ideally, finish the prefixes and sell the failure and try again.
If you got NO suffix and want to save it, craft 3 Crafted Mods in the open suffix, and then continue with the next step.
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and use a Harvest Caster Reforge to guarantee +1 Curse. Ideally you want no life mods and room to craft something if you have
a good suffix already. Otherwise Craft your suffix and exalt to fill the prefix slots if you like, and be done.
If you want to go one step further you can once again craft suffixes cannot be changed and Aisling the chest for Chance to Block/Spell Block or Avoid Stun/Ailments
to make gearing easier. But this is not super needed and will just make it more expensive.
Gloves:
Crafted Rare - Grab Fractured T1 Resist Gloves
Use a resist essence until you hit another T1 Resist or Dexterity (whichever you need).
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and use a Veiled Chaos Orb
Block one of the Conversion mods and unveil for a few different things.
+2 AoE is ideal for BB Link, Life is okay - craft Pierce or +1 Aoe on gloves after, Can also take pierce and Craft Life at worse case.
Finish gloves with Eldritch Currency if Desired.
Eldritch Implicits - Unnerve(Important!), Fire Leech(Important!)
Boots:
Crafted Rare - Grab Fractured T1 Chaos Resist Boots
Use Shock Avoid essences until you land t2/t1 Life Regeneration Rate.
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and Veiled Chaos Orb.
Craft Mana and unveil for MS + Onslaught on Kill, you can take the other MS options as well and use the Onslaught Tattoo.
Craft Life and Slam some random final stat.
Eldritch Implicits - Chance to Avoid Being Shocked (Important!), Any you find useful
Enchant - Cast Speed on Kill
Amulet:
Crafted Rare - Grab Fractured T1 Crit Multiplier on a Dexterity Base Amulet
Use Cast Speed Essences until you hit Dexterity or t1 Resist (whichever you need).
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and use a Veiled Chaos Orb.
Block mana and unveil for Life, craft % Max ES and slam for something if you want.
Anoint - Charism is needed to fix our reservation issues.
Rings:
Crafted Rare - Grab an ilvl 75-79 Unset Ring and use a Warlord's Exalt on it (this specific ilvl matters and it doesn't drop naturally)
Use Cast Speed Essences until you hit Dexterity or t1 Resist (whichever you need) and NO other suffix, if you get another suffix
you have to attempt to annul it off.
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and do a Harvest Caster reforge for Flammability on hit. If the ring is ilvl80 or above you have a
50/50 chance of hitting Vulnerability here.
Craft Suffixes cannot be changed and use a Veiled Chaos Orb.
Block Mana and unveil Life, craft Max Energy Shield and Slam for an additional mod if you have room.
Nimis - Removes the Need for Returning Projectile in the link and provides us "free" Ring EK. Expensive, definitely worth it, and free Dexterity!
Belt:
Crafted Rare - Grab an ilvl 84+ Stygian Hunter Base or Make one with a Hunter Exalt. Make sure to put 20% Life/Mana quality on this before rolling as
they are expensive.
Use single Pristine Fossils until you hit t2+ Life and T1 %Life, the third prefix doesn't matter too much.
Craft Prefixes cannot be changed and Harvest Chaos Reforge for t3+ Chaos Res.
You can either craft Hybrid Res and slam or attempt to do prefixes cannot be changed and Aisling for stats or hybrid res and craft the other.
Flasks:
Enchant all utility flasks with Use on Reaching Full Charges when possible, you only have to press them every once in a while for bosses or hard mobs.
We use (4) Utility Flasks and (1) Life Flask
Non-negotiable flasks - None
Other Flasks in Order of Importance - Quicksilver, Diamond, Ruby, Amethyst (until chaos cap), Granite, Basalt
All Utility Flasks should use the Gained Charges on being Hit Prefix, +3 ideally but +2 or +1 is okay early, you need ilvl80 base to hit +3 on hit and ilvl84 to hit max on most suffixes.
Suffixes can go on any of the flasks, you should look for in order of importance, Cast Speed, Crit, Armour%, -Curse Effectiveness
Your life Flask should be an Instant flask, ideally one that is Instant while on low life. Use an anti-bleed / corrupting blood suffix until you can become immune to those effects
through a jewel corruption or masteries.
Jewels:
Watcher's Eye - Grab whatever Zealotry mods you can afford or find, most of them are good but Arcane Surge and Dmg Taken on Conc ground are ideal.
Timeless Jewels - Lethal Pride for Endurance Charge on Kill, Double Damage, Gained as Fire, Taken as Fire, Strength
Impossible Escape - Unwavering Stance for +2 All Res and Brink of Death.
Stormshroud - Our source of Elemental Ailment Immunity.
Abyss Jewel - Minion Bleed Chance is HUGE for damage here as it enables our Weapon Effect, we also need %chance to avoid shock and life would be good too.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leveling
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a VERY advanced build so I'm not gonna tell you how to level.
I suggest you just level it as whatever you like, you can level as EK with spellblade/battlemage and just use a huge damage weapon.
