Overview

My 2023 Multi-Mirror Min-Maxed Take on Crouching Tuna's Lightning Warp Tornado Shot Build is a Path of Exile Deadeye build by Joyboytings, made for the Ancestor league (3.22). It is centered on Tornado Shot and plays as a dexterity, attack, projectile, bow archetype. In Path of Building it reaches 26.01M DPS with 193.75K effective HP, 2.67K life, 113 energy shield. Key uniques include Asenath's Mark, Mageblood, Atziri's Promise, Badge of the Brotherhood, Kalandra's Touch.

Joyboytings's Notes

Hello, Exiles! Today, I'm thrilled to unveil my min-maxed, mirrors-invested version of Crouching Tuna's Lightning Warp Tornado Shot build, a true powerhouse for endgame content.

Core Mechanics

  • Asenath's Mark: This unique helmet triggers socketed spells when attacking with a bow. In this build, Lightning Warp is the chosen spell.
  • Attack Speed Breakpoint: Achieving an exact attack speed of 10.09 or 10.10 is non-negotiable. Failing to meet this will result in a "jerky" Lightning Warp experience.
  • Cooldown Recovery: A minimum of 204% cooldown recovery with travel skills is essential for frequent Lightning Warp triggers.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

  1. Unmatched Speed: This build is arguably the fastest in PoE, thanks to the synergy between Lightning Warp and Asenath's Mark.
  2. Highly Optimized: The build is meticulously min-maxed, focusing on specific breakpoints for attack speed and cooldown recovery, while also maximizing survivability.
  3. Versatility: The build can be adapted based on personal preferences, such as swapping Endless Munitions for Wind Ward on the ascendancy or rerouting the skill tree to maintain specific stats.
  4. Endgame Viability: Designed to excel in endgame content, this build is a solid choice for experienced players.
  5. Unique Mechanics: The combination of Asenath's Mark and Lightning Warp offers a unique and engaging playstyle.

Cons:

  1. Complexity: A deep understanding of the build's mechanics is required.
  2. High Budget: Multiple mirrors are needed for full optimization.
  3. Not Beginner-Friendly: Due to its complexity and gear requirements, this build is not recommended for newcomers.
  4. Breakpoint Dependency: Missing the attack speed or cooldown recovery targets can negatively impact the build's performance.

Gameplay

The gameplay is fast-paced and requires precise positioning. If there's sufficient interest from the community, I'll create a detailed gameplay video.

Community Engagement

I'm open to feedback and would love to hear from other Tornado Shot mains or anyone interested in min-maxing. Your input is highly valued!

Conclusion

This post serves as a summary and highlight of my take on Crouching Tuna's Lightning Warp Tornado Shot build. My goal is to showcase the build's potential and demonstrate how far one can take it with the right investment and optimization. For those interested, here's the link to my build: PoBB Link.
