Hello again! Today I just have a short little showcase of my Elemental Hit Ancestral Commander build I quickly put together.
It was an idea I had toyed with back during regular Settlers, specifically with runecrafting. With the +2 socketed melee Gems runecraft, +2 socketed melee gems, +1 socketed gems, and a lvl 4 empower, you can get your Elemental Hit up to level 30 from your weapon alone. Add in the new Admiral's Arrogance for another +3 (and great max rage uptime) and you have a level 33 Elemental Hit!
And, since gems don't scale much higher after level 30, you can forego Dragonfange or a +2 rare amulet for Leadership's Price. Elemental Hit gets more damage for each elemental ailment on it, so with this amulet + skitterbots, you have 5 ailments on enemies at all times.
The reason I ended up not doing it in Settlers is because I didn't feel there was an amazing ascendancy to pair with it. In Phrecia, Ancestral Commander is perfect. Ancestral Reach offers amazing range and clear. +3 max endurance charges offers both amazing extra tank and damage with Arn's Anguish. Mini Defiance is OP. And lastly, Born Under Fire offers a surprising amount of tankiness. With the Marauder side + Leadership's Price you are able to stack a ton of max resistance. This node + Lightning Coil/helmet implicit = around 80% of physical damage taken as elemental damage!
While the damage is mid, I was surprised at how tanky the build ended up being.
Thanks for watching!
