2 weeks into the league I was done with the atlas sitting on a level 96 GH Slayer looking for a new build.
I played PS MoM Crit ballista totem hierophant the last couple of leagues and wanted a new twist and started looking on ninja.
I found two characters that peaked my interest.

Joshua and Zookie played something that I wanted to give a try since Locus Mine was introduced and was already quite popular on a Trickster. But it had to be a Hierophant of course. <3 Mr long neck.
The idea is Mana/Int stacking on Hierophant with Radiant Faith jewels from Guardian to convert mana to high ES.
Here is my character as it sits right now at level 99.

Key items:
* two 10% base crit wands with synth implicit 1% spell damage per 16 int. Crafted with WoE essence and finished with a Veiled Orb and Multi-Mod.
* Rare chest, gloves and boots with high es and fractued mana crafted with spite essence.
* Stygian Vise with mine throwing speed and mana/es/elemental damage.
* Helical Ring with fractured mana crafted with Scorn Essence.
* As helmet Mind of the Council.
* Early on Mindspiral+Shav ring can be used. The build still works without mana regen since mines use such low mana that 10% of mana per 10% skill usage mastery keeps us topped 99% of the time. For the 1% Vaal Clarity helps out.
* Fury Valve is such an amazing pick for the build.
* Watchers eye with determination crit reduction and mana as es clarity. Up to 100% crit red with hex mastery.
* The cluster provides blind which should not be sneezed at. It is good.
I finished 36/40 with the build yesterday. The build feels insanely tanky. Has very good recovery and bonkers damage. I had no issues doing the ubers whatsoever. (Sirus needs CB immunity of course)
While mapping it feels very much unkillable. I have died maybe 4 times on the way from 90-99. Everytime to DD. I had an infuriating death at 98.9% when a ritual at the boss of Toxic Sewers that I offscreened spawned so many death orbs which I did not noticed that I got KOed out of nowhere. Or the time where I killed an elder guardian so fast that maven spawned map bosses while I was looting which used DD and oneshot me with the guardian corse.
Others are trying to improve the build some more with Mageblood and Stranglegrasp but I am not sure if that is even beneficial. The Stygian and Fury Valve are really good. Using Incandescent Heart instead of a rare chest is a very good option though.

Just incase anyone is wondering. Yes using Mind of the Council drains full mana on every mine throw. In my case every 0.18s. Mines cost 6 mana to use and I got 260 mana left and 654 mana reg per second (~65 per 0.1s). The server ticks every 0.03 seconds if I am correct. Before the next 0.18s comes around the 6 mana are easily regenerated. It looks kinda funny but works perfectly.
